QM2 Jan-Mar 2022 Itineraries

Thanks to @sogne's hint on the "QM2 Nov/Dec Schedule" thread, here is what I've found for the first two of QM2's 2022 Caribbean itineraries and one short 5-night cruise covering the dates from 10 January through 19 March 2022.

Interesting to note the calls at Hamburg to accommodate round trips from Hamburg on both of the Caribbean cruises. Also interesting to note the first Caribbean cruise is skipping the US entirely.

10-Jan   Southampton

12-Jan   Hamburg

14-Jan   Southampton

18-Jan   Funchal, Madeira

25-Jan   Bridgetown, Barbados (Overnight)

26-Jan   Bridgetown, Barbados

27-Jan   Roseau, Dominica

28-Jan   Castries, St. Lucia

29-Jan   Basseterre, St. Kitts

30-Jan   Philipsburg, St. Maarten

31-Jan   Road Town, Tortola

7-Feb    Santa Cruz, Tenerife

11-Feb  Southampton

13-Feb  Hamburg

15-Feb  Southampton

22-Feb  New York

26-Feb  Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

27-Feb  Philipsburg, St. Maarten

28-Feb  Roseau, Dominica

1-Mar    Bridgetown, Barbados

2-Mar    Castries, St. Lucia

3-Mar    Basseterre, St. Kitts

7-Mar    New York

14-Mar Southampton

16-Mar Hamburg

18-Mar Zeebrugge

19-Mar Southampton

We know from earlier discoveries by @57eric that QM2 is on the Road Town, Tortola port schedule for 11 April 2022. Previous hints from Cunard indicate the third of QM2's Caribbean cruises for early 2022 might also be calling at Fort Lauderdale.

Thank you very much, @bluemarble!

Any idea about prices?

You do not have Queen Elizabeth's itineraries, too, by chance? 😉

Sorry no, I haven't found any indications of pricing yet nor any of QE's early 2022 itineraries. I did happen upon one of QE's missing November 2021 itineraries yesterday which I posted here on another thread. Not sure how accurate this is though since it does conflict with the Madeira port schedule.

I followed @sogne's hint indicating "an internet search for QM2 January 22 might return something of interest regarding the Caribbean". The QM2 itinerary I posted above can be found that way on several of the big-name UK cruise booking websites.

Oops, there appears to be a day unaccounted for between Roseau and Bridgetown in the second Caribbean itinerary I posted above. The itinerary I found just counts the days of the cruise from "Day 1" and I didn't notice it skips a day between those two ports. It would appear 1 March 2022 is going to be a sea day.

Here's what I'm now thinking QM2's itinerary is actually going to look like with my corrections to the dates noted in red.

10-Jan   Southampton

12-Jan   Hamburg

14-Jan   Southampton

18-Jan   Funchal, Madeira

25-Jan   Bridgetown, Barbados (Overnight)

26-Jan   Bridgetown, Barbados

27-Jan   Roseau, Dominica

28-Jan   Castries, St. Lucia

29-Jan   Basseterre, St. Kitts

30-Jan   Philipsburg, St. Maarten

31-Jan   Road Town, Tortola

7-Feb    Santa Cruz, Tenerife

11-Feb  Southampton

13-Feb  Hamburg

15-Feb  Southampton

22-Feb  New York

26-Feb  Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

27-Feb  Philipsburg, St. Maarten

28-Feb  Roseau, Dominica

2-Mar    Bridgetown, Barbados

3-Mar    Castries, St. Lucia

4-Mar    Basseterre, St. Kitts

8-Mar    New York

15-Mar Southampton

17-Mar Hamburg

19-Mar Zeebrugge

20-Mar Southampton

I may also have worked out the itinerary for QM2's third Caribbean cruise after piecing together several individual itinerary fragments found on a couple UK cruise booking websites. It looks like the entire remaining gap in QM2's schedule may be a Caribbean cruise calling at both New York and Fort Lauderdale.

Here's the indications I'm seeing for what that third QM2 Caribbean cruise itinerary is going to look like from 20 March to 24 April 2022.

20-Mar Southampton

27-Mar New York

30-Mar Fort Lauderdale

2-Apr     Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3-Apr     Basseterre, St. Kitts

4-Apr     Roseau, Dominica

5-Apr     Bridgetown, Barbados (Overnight)

6-Apr     Bridgetown, Barbados

8-Apr     Willemstad, Curacao

10-Apr  Philipsburg, St. Maarten

11-Apr  Road Town, Tortola

14-Apr  Fort Lauderdale

17-Apr  New York

24-Apr  Southampton

Very rarely do PG or QG ever come up as Saver fares always Cunard Fare.

The 1st question asked about the prices were are they Cunard fares. The TA said they were reason being that they were being released within a very short time of sailing. I was allowed to pick a number of cabin numbers.

I got exactly the same answer when I phone Cunard.

They seem to be saver fares being sold as Cunard fares, the saving on Princess Grill being considerable when compared to the launch prices for the Nov 21 sailing via NY.

Is free parking an alternative to OBC? I can't seem to see it on the website for these cruises.

There's a promotion called "The Cunard Upgrade" going on in the UK which appears to apply to all of the newly-announced voyages that will be on sale from 21 July. The terms and conditions of that promotion state in part:

"Cunard Fare benefits of on board spending money, car parking or return coach travel also apply."

We would like to take the January Caribbean round trip, but the COVID situation here is very worrying. Already had so many cruises cancelled and perhaps this would  turn out to be another disappointment!

Also, to add the Caribbean to our annual travel policy, is horrendously expensive, and we have no major health issues!

Very undecided whether to take the risk and book on Wednesday.

Ditto about C19 situation.

We have booked NE/CANADA next September to wait and see how things settle down.

Would love to go to the warm weather but the setup also with number of days is too long also. We really can't go away that long.

And ditto with the expenses too!

We are staying where we are with our booking for a Sept 22 booking on the Mary and too hoping for the best.

I am undecided whether to take free parking or the OBC. Who is Cunard's 'free' parking with as i've seen on other pages they push Holiday Extras for insurance and wondered if parking was with them.

What grade cabin are you? If you are Grills, the OBC is almost always more than the parking. I think they use  CPS.

Not booked yet we will be Brittania Club the OBC is currently $250
