Again Wrote a very long Review, yesterday night, tried to add picture.... all text gone.....

So again

Stayed in stay hotel for pre embarkation night (about 190km north from genova) room clean, but easy. Surprisingly good breakfest. I can recommend, cost 50€ room/night.

Drive to Genova is "long" do the last about 50 km, small, curvy, max 60km/h, sometimes less possible.

Genova.: i've used the GPS data, provided by MSC, fail....

This data are wrong.... This Terminal is old and closed, but entrence of parking is key... If you leave parking Lot, turn legt, ramp down, u-turn legt and straight foreward..... You See the YC tent....

CI: YC tent is not realy close to CI.

All other guest can drive closer to CI...

Now the "small" like to go swimming....

Back to CI... luggage gone, escorted to testing Area.

Loooong walk... We got sticker and walk in front of long line....

Everything a bit disorganized compared to test Station at Kiel 4 weeks ago.

Covid test was very deep, for our kid  as well, He said it was painfull and was very unhappy.

CI was quite slow, we wait about 30 min for test result.

MSC mixed up ouur booking.... The Brand New from friday they did not have in there Systems, at least not in full....

Rooms where change, 2 pax in big 19025, 3 in normal grand suite..

Took a while and then they said, need to DONE at Concierge....

Then we where escorted to topsail for welcome Drink.

More to come

Oh, that’s frustrating.   Maybe you should type up your posts elsewhere on the iPad, then copy & paste (says she who never follows her own advice lol).

Concierge had a problem.

Our new booking showed YC experience, but ships docs showed fantastica only

Because of that we got no internet package, nor drink package outside YC.

Lucky I've had the new booking in print, showing the proof to have YCso we got the prem drink package. The internet I've to buy the internet package and concierge will reimburse to cost to file....

Coming to stateroom.

19021 is a bit larger than normal YC1, walk in closet, tons of storage...

The 19025, boahhh, is this room big...

Thanks so much, Ken.  Onboard right now.  I may do a comparison with MSC yet.   As we’d originally booked an inside for this cruise and have one booked on Seashore, it was going to include a cabin comparison.   However we are now enjoying having a balcony and it’s going to be a real step down in October. 🤣

Love the NCL Epic but hate the inside cabins.  They are the absolute tiniest cabins we have ever sailed in. Never again. Have fun!

In the evening, we strolled around the ship.

At the bar at the end of the ship, infinity pool, are not so much tables...may be 5 or so....Ship is very nice inside

Day 2

Arrived Napoli about 1130AM.

The unused NCL Star and a small MSC(to far for the name,) are docked at harbor.

YC deck not full, only a few persons in pool or bubble water...

There is one waiter....I've to check his name and try to do a picture, unbelievable...he is really running....., But all in all, Pooldeck Service is very good.

SeeThis the extra big version.

Is the 28 the one on the other side of the ship?

Today is white night. Issue today, the ship is more or less black, never seen so much dirty people.....

We went to theater today, new on seashore, if theater is fully booked, your butler escort you in....

Show was very good, even our small vergot to sleep... 😄😁

Great review so far. You told me on the other post they had escargot…is it only on YC? I am not booked that way, just a balcony. Do you know if the menu is the same?

Don't assume it's available in main dining...we are in yc.

The electronic menue doesn't work, therefore I'm sorry no access to main dining menu

Are they letting you off the ship in port if you do not have an excursion booked?

I imagine all the cruise lines are following the same policies based on each country’s rules and regulations.  On NCL, passengers were able to go ashore in Palma as we’d all embarked in Spain.  However, no one is allowed to go ashore in the Italian ports unless on a ship’s excursion - not even Italians!
