ludde Posted August 31, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2021 Are you allowed to order one of the 4 daily diamond drinks and give it to someone else? Does RCCL clarify this on their web page somewhere?

Rare twangster Posted August 31, 2021 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2021 In the past you could share them. In 2019 I emailed C&A this question and they confirmed they are shareable. Now that the coupons are any drink, any bar it might be worth asking them yourself.
smokeybandit Posted August 31, 2021 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2021 No bartender cares who the drink is for (short of ordering shots for your 4 year old)
Rare orville99 Posted August 31, 2021 #6 Share Posted August 31, 2021 DW and I often take turns going to the pool bar to get drinks, and we usually only have our own card with us. Bartenders seem to have no trouble giving one person more than one drink, as long as there are vouchers available. On Saturday DW went to the Solarium Bar and ordered Mai Tai and a beer while I was looking for the best place to drink them - no problem whatsoever. They don't. You had it straight on your head. They don't mind if you share the drinks from vouchers, but sharing from the package. ETA: In the past, I've "bought" a drink for someone by using a voucher even though I had a package. Edited August 31, 2021 by DCPIV

On one cruise, when the Quest was held in Studio B, before things got started, to pass the time and warm the crowd up, the bartenders did one of their show-off-their-tricks shows. At the end of each "trick", they would pass out the drinks as samples to people in the first row. They gave one to a woman seated with several children. She proceeded to pass it down the row so that each child could drink some of it. No one stopped her or said a word to her. (and yes, it was an alcoholic drink)
LeeW Posted August 31, 2021 #11 Share Posted August 31, 2021 This week and last waiters on Symphony have collected both cards in shows and casino. Dining room just used cabin number. For soda package had to pick up cups at Cafe Promenade last week but didn't get new cups this week.
