What is HAL charging now for CLub Orange.  I was told $25 pp per day for the Pinnacle Class ships, but what about the others?

Personally, we don't like the Club Orange dining. Closed off, close quarters, no view, no decorations.. Have been on Rotterdam since Dec 12th. Club Orange people are coming to the beautiful dining room.

I get a great view of the sea in Club Orange!  In the main dining room I only get a view of the serving station and other diners.

$25 pp per day for 7 day cruises and less. I can’t quite recall when it drops to $15 but definitely the longer the cruise the lower the cost.  I’ll have to check my notes.

We also loved our Club Orange experience on Koningsdam. The pace is far more relaxed, with excellent, personalized service and didn't feel like close quarters at all. I appreciated being able to watch the talented chef put the artistic finishing touches on my meal. It gets my vote every time over the much louder, frenetic pace of the MDR. Sorry, not familiar with CO costs on the older ships.

My HAL PCC told me that CO 14 days and over was $15/p/p/day, 8-13 days was $25/p/p/day, and less than 7 days was $50/p/p/day.  I have heard this has varied on some cruises.

I agree.  But if people don’t like it that works for me.  It was too busy in the mornings on my cruises and there was a wait a couple days. To bad all those  people 😛 didn’t decide to go to the mdr that day.

Thanks for the responses so far.  I should have stated that I was looking at a 10 day on the Zuiderdam.  I know that it does not have the dedicated dining area, but thought it might be worth it just for the upgrade (Verandah guarantee cabin now).

My HAL PCC is out until Jan 3, so I thought I would ask on this board, so that I can be ready when she returns.

After doing the math, I thought the price was worth it to move from a guarantee to a cabin of our choice.

It was the Nieuw Amsterdam, 7 days. This was a "free" casino cruise, so for $25 pp/pd  it was a nice chance to try an aft facing veranda on a short cruise (which I loved BTW).

Great deal IMO.  You would have paid that much or more just for the upgrade I think.
