Timmies - Saving trees

Prior to the pandemic i would get a coffee at a Timmies 3 or 4 times a week.

In the last two years i might of had a total of 5 .

I use my keurig machine now more than ever.

Agree with you. Same here. I use a ‘drip’ with Lavazza Gold. Just started to use the Tim’s drive-through recently hence the cups...

I also have a Saeco expresso machine that makes a decent coffee . 

It has an elaborate cappuccino option on it that i never used . 

I prefer a double expresso .

First of all, welcome to Cruise Critic.

 

I think that you'll find that a little thread drift occurs from time to time, both on this and the many other CC boards. After you've spent some time here, I think you'll see that the discussion will get back on track. No harm, no foul, and no need to call out other members. This is probably the friendliest board on CC, and I think we all enjoy the camaraderie. If thread drift ever gets problematic, the mods will address it.

At home I use and love my Aeropress but on the road I’ve switched from Tim’s and now prefer McDonald’s. 🤷‍♀️

Coffee quality is my one big beef with some cruise lines. The one that had a ship in a 70's tv show in particular.

It's been a few years, but last time it was reconstituting a frozen product. Worse the pay for brewed was mediocre.

 

Good coffee starts with good quality, well roasted beans.

 I have never been able to get what I call a decent cup of coffee on any cruise ship or line. I write it up on the post cruise survey, once I even got response from the cruise line about it on our next cruise hoping that they fixed the problem, they didn't.

On RCL , I have had some good free coffee  on one cruise , the special paid coffee has always been good

Agree. Have witnessed the intravenous-style bags of brown mystery goo being loaded into their buffet coffee dispensers.

I can’t wait to have a coffee on Celebrity Edge in October. At this point, I really don’t care if it’s good or bad coffee, I just can’t wait to get on that ship!
