Strange OBC activity.....

So I recently made final payment for my April cruise on Apex.     I went and looked at the document that reflected the final payment, and in the On Board Credit section there is AN ADDITIONAL $600 of OBC showing.    I went and looked at the "Plan Your Cruise" section of the online site and the higher amount shows there as well.    Now I think it's awesome they gave me an additional $600 OBC but I have no idea why.      Has anyone ever had this happen to them?   Should I expect it to go away before sailing or is it party time for this cruise???

Happened to me too, additional $1,000.  I requested an automatic booking confirmation when I saw this.  The booking confirmation does not show this $1,000.

I got an unexpected $200 OBC on our July Alaska cruise. No explanation.

My mistake, it's been a rough day.  The addl OBC is for our December cruise and it's $200.

Earlier in the year there was a sale that had OBC as part of it... could this be OBC from that sale.. I know I reached out to the company and got a slight reprice but some OBC.

Could be but unlikely.     This is a sailing they Blue Chip Club.    I got a Sky Suite at a stupid good rate.   No sale would beat that, but maybe the additional OBCs from a sale got added.  
 

Interesting to see that this happened to others too.   Makes me feel like maybe they won’t take it back.

I've been given 'pre cruise-credit' of £226.11

No idea why.

Is it the same? That is, if I don't use all of it on the cruise planner does it become OBC?

Are you sure this just isn't the standard OBC that comes with the Retreat?  I booked 2 separate cruises for next year in a Sky Suite with the BCC and both bookings came with $800 OBC.  I believe it is based on the length of the cruise.  I also have Casino OBC and a sale OBC so in total $1300 on 1 booking.

Right after I spent all of our OBC for an Alaska cruise in June, an additional $300 showed up. It said I had earned it. We don’t do casinos so nothing to do with that. I couldn’t figure it out
