When you cash out your voucher from slots, there is no service charge. After calculating our DSC, we still had $200 in OBC. Went to casino, registered cabin card and entered $100 to play. Played until hit $99. Hit Cash Out on machine and received voucher. Next day, went to Casino Cashier and received $99 in cash. Rinse and repeat. We were on B2B so, did this a few times. Each week had OBC associated with it. Used cash for tips.
FrostyJoe Posted January 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2022 wish you luck @Fogfog on the slots!!! Maybe ya'll be the lucky one winning the jackpot after one round of donating to the machines!
FrostyJoe Posted January 26, 2022 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2022 (edited) Speaking of slots, anyone know if there’s any sort of minimum percent payout cruise lines have like landslide casinos? We play very little landslide or cruise slots either way, but cruise slot seems tighttttttt compared to even Vegas slots. I remember getting a decent winning at Vegas airport killing time 😆 i suppose it can be nomans land on international water… Edited January 26, 2022 by FrostyJoe

We did it several times that way even without playing any round. It was always non refundable OBC.

It has not been my experience, but I have not been on board yet post-COVID. You are on the ship now, so I'd be curious about your experience if you experiment.

I guess if that’s the case for the OP, massages can’t hurt to blow the OBC…
miataman19 Posted February 1, 2022 #12 Share Posted February 1, 2022 On Meraviglia last month. Went to the Roulette table and gave the dealer my room card and said $300 please in $5 chips (My non-refundable OBC). He gave me the chips I played 3 spins at $25 each spin and left even. Went to the cash window and cashed out $300. Easy Peezy.

Either way even if they lock down like NCL down the road, this is a great "problem" to have 😊

While the money goes into the account pool, refundable has been taken first on my last three MSC cruises. Your plan works if they spend that refundable first. Rare ziggyuk Posted February 2, 2022 #15 Share Posted February 2, 2022 I'm really confused how this "load the card" and "cashout" works? On Virtuosa last year I went to the cahier and asked her to load my card, she gave me a puzzled look and said "Just put your room card in the machine and play.". I thought perhaps if I put my card in a machine it might ask me how much to load but it didn't. So...I remain confused how this works?
Fogfog Posted February 6, 2022 Author #16 Share Posted February 6, 2022 In the last two cruises someone went to casino and told them they wanted to cash their non ref obc Caused a lot of trouble as they were less than discreet I knowin past with other lines non ref is used first then refundable…unclear which comes first in casino etc…

Cash out!! Check a day or two later to see which OBC if took from or whether it took from CC on file. if it’s cc, I’d just keep the cash and redeposit once I get home, and find other ways to use up the non refundable obc

It asks you to “register” your card. Asks security questions ( DOB) etc then you set up 4 digit pin code. you then have option to play, asks for amount and you should indicate charge to room account. Next time, you just put in room card and enter pin to play. I played machine with very small bets, had to look around to find one. After a few rounds, ended up at $99 from original $100 . Machine has button, Cash Out. Hit that, take paper voucher and remember to remove card. ( I left mine once🙄) Do not cash out immediately. Go next day to cash out. Just present voucher to cashier for cash. Planning ahead needed if you have large OBC as Casino is not always open. Hope this helps. I got $100 OBC coming and I might want to cash some of it out, although I am not sure what I wish to do with it yet.
