Great cabin location as Luminae was on deck 3, so it wasn’t too much work to walk down and more importantly up the stairs after eating! 😂

We are on the Reflection in April. Just wondering if you think there will be less people onboard because it is a 9 night cruise. If anything I would think there would be more passengers, especially if the C19 curve continues to flatten.

On Reflection we were on deck 11, on our upcoming Silhouette cruise we are on deck 12, under the OVC outdoor eating area, and on our upcoming Solstice cruise we are on deck 10. We don't mind the longer walk and really enjoy the view from the corners.

Seeing it at the turn of a B2B is actually kind of a fun experience. Thinking "We're about to start a cruise" when you're still on the ship is unique. Almost get the feeling that the new folks coming aboard are 'visitors' to your home away from home. Hard to explain.

I know what you're talking about. 🙂 We've only managed one B2B thus far and the feeling, particularly on the last day/evening of the first leg, is unique. Rare Ken the cruiser Posted February 20, 2022 Author #387 Share Posted February 20, 2022 Thanks everyone for the kind words! We finally made it home after 11 very uneventful hours on the road which is always good! Now it's time to lose some weight and start planning for our next cruise the end of April on the Caribbean Princess. 😎

But to be honest, I'm not sure we would even want to book a 7 day cruise anymore. Once you make the leap to longer cruises, it's hard to go back especially if you're retired and have plenty of time to spare. Heck, we just start learning our way around the ship by the end of the first week! 🤣
Softball20 Posted February 23, 2022 #389 Share Posted February 23, 2022 One more question: did you park at the port? We are debating between that and leaving the car at our pre-cruise hotel - not much cost difference to worry about. Are cars safe in the lots at the port? Thanks! We were just wondering if it might be easier to just park at the port so we have the car there and not have to worry about the shuttle there and back. Yes, we always have parked at the car park at Port Everglades when we drive and have never had an issue. I must say it’s quite nice to just walk across the street from the terminal and get in our car and drive home. We have found it easy after a cruise to just grab a Lyft or Uber back to the hotel and leave. It's quite a bit less expensive than parking at the port on a longer cruise. Either works, pick your choice and have an awesome time!
Alabaster Cruiser Posted February 23, 2022 #394 Share Posted February 23, 2022 Ken not sure if this has been asked.....on b2b if you purchased a bottle of spirits on ship do they deliver it to you after the first cruise or at the end of the second? Thank you.

Rare DaKahuna Posted February 24, 2022 #396 Share Posted February 24, 2022 When we sailed on aB2B in December the liquor we purchased on our first leg was delivered at the end of that leg. Se just stored it in the closet until the end of the cruise.
