What Can We Expect in 2022 /23

What do you mean by easier? If you give a bit more info in your question that can help us all give you feedback.

Do you mean related to Covid -19 ( masking, testing)?  If so, I don’t think anyone can say for sure.  We have been on several cruises since Princess started operating again and have more scheduled, the most difficult thing has been worrying about test results getting back in time and we have resolved that by purchasing accepted home test kits as our back up.

Do you mean easier with Medallion App? Hopefully the bugs will continue to be worked out and now a web based option is available ( but I understand it has issues that need fixed too).  But if Medallion is what is making it hard you can go to the port with your passport, Covid vaccine record and negative test and check in there.

Easier in what way? Covid protocols? No one really knows, but over time covid should become less of a problem as more & more around the world become vaccinated. Have to wait & see

You have hit the hot  topics .  Being in our 80s  with underlying medical issues ,we can't risk cruises with pre testing  & np guarantees we won't get the virus on board .We  recently  recovered from  omnicron & that took 5 weeks  to recover .We had been vaccinated & had theraputics available .

Now we hope that the virus will disappear as more people in the world are vaccinated  & cruising as we once knew it would resume  .There is no way that we are going to get pre tested in 2 days & be sure to get a negative  result  .

If cruising can come back to it's prior  fun ,we have a $1300 FCC we  would love to apply to a Princess cruise

traveling with 2 family members in their 80's with preexisting medical conditions, we felt that having everyone (including us) tested before getting on the ship & mostly wearing masks felt safer than if those things were not in place; yes, it is stressful not knowing for sure if you will be able to sail until the last minute but if that is what keeps us able to cruise safely then it is worth it to us

Great that it works for you & your family . We are all different & one shoe does not fit all of us . We love cruising ,it is the possibility of getting reinfected is not some thing we want or could go through again .

We wish all sho do cruise under the covid cloak that they cruise safely

We are booked next year Jan/Feb for 50 days and are worried about the B2B testing and if we would have to leave after just one cruise!  Taking 2 days to drive and staying ahead to get tested, etc. very stressful.  We understand. It is just like the stock market, some are younger and can ride it out long term and some older and decide to put things into a safer area.  Wish I wasn't such an A type person, but lots of stuff packed for 50 days!
