I just checked the hotel website and did a mock booking for September 2022. They show:

"Parking for up to the duration of cruise shuttle to/from san pedro cruise terminal"."

Now I am confused...

Not confusing at all.  They still have a rate that includes parking.  It's just expressed differently than it used to be and some haven't found it.

Someone asked about the balconies and whether they are covered or not. We are on deck 10 Caribe. They are partially covered, but you are able to lay in the sun. The deck above us, Baja, will have covered balconies and the one below, Dolphin, will be mostly uncovered.

The pub crawl got off to a slow start but ended with a bang. I did not take a ton of pics but remembered to take a pic of Crooners!😜😂

The Chefs Finned was held in the Crown Grill. We were escorted to a private table that sat about 10 people. Each “family sat on each side of a rectangular table. I called it the COVID table 

 

Despite the separation of space we became friends with our table mates and had a great fun time. Way too much food though!!

 

The first several courses -seafood - were served with Champagne - Nicolas  Feuillatte - and a lot of it! All of the courses were excellent but a lot of food!

Starter-shirip and lobster margarita;

 

Muni Quiche Fontana Cheese (loved this!);

 

shrimp and scallop cake. Ok but not my favorite.;

  Black caviar in Potato Timbale. I usually don’t like caviar but this was travois especially with the champagne! ;

The next set of bites were served with a nice Chardonnay- Chamisal from Napa Valley. Sorry I’m not cropping the photo.;

 

Itallian Seafood risotto- it was ok. 7/10 forks;

 

Palate Cleanser- Blueberry Sorbet. 10/10 forks. This was actually turned into a vodka cocktail;

 

Live the legs!!😂😂

 

Surf and Turf-10/10 forks. Lamb and filet with lobster 🤪;

 

A cheese and fig platter;

 

Served with a nice Cabernet!;

The dessert was served. With a Elderton Botrytis Golden Semillon too sweet for me. I just drank more Cab!!;

We rollout of Crown Grill agreeing to meet up with everyone at a fine wine tasting event tomorrow. We hit the show which featured a great piano player then wing back to the room.

All that after a pub crawl?  I saw the parade of dishes.  They looked elegant.  I’m such a light weight when it comes to wine.

Last night at the chefs dinner we received a nice cookbook signed the the Chef and Restaurant Manager as well as some photos of our group. Nice touch.;

 

 

I won’t need to eat for a week!! I’m still full from last night😜

 

The piano player was awesome! My favorite so far.;

Hey Tiff, can you please check the first page of the cookbook and see if it is the sixth edition from 2014 ?? The protective cover "wrap" looks the same.

The fifth edition, (Not the band)😂🤣, was from 2009. I figured it was time for them to come out with a new one. Maybe the C19 problem messed them up.

We are going to to see if there is a Chef's Table  planned for our Ruby cruise when we board on the 16th. It may be a lot of food, but we feel it is worth it. We still have plenty of friends and relatives to give the cookbooks to and they enjoy them.

Is your weather starting to get a little warmer ??

Yeah got a bunch of those not many people to pass them off as Christmas gifts. No more of these dinners for me
