Never had it on a cruise but if I go to a hockey game I’m drinking fireball shots at every intermission That's quite the shot!

Considering the deck I can understand not many people there. A lot of people want to get a view from higher up and open air directly above.

Stopped by guest services to let them know how messed up the time is. She admitted the hub app is wrong but seemed to blame the rest on guest confusion. They’re confused because you have the hub app on Seattle time. And you’re opening all of your venues on Seattle time. And you don’t have clocks in the elevator lobbies and stairwells like other ships have. All we have is the hub app. And it’s wrong. Is my excursion leaving on Seattle time or Alaska time? They say Alaska’s but everything else today has been on Seattle time. The internet was a disaster when I was on the Splendor from May 2-10. The Hub app was pretty non functional also and the " What's happening" section NEVER worked the entire cruise and this is arguably the most important thing for people to know what is going on for shows etc. You would think in the absence of this working they would print and distribute a paper copy to all the guests, but no the only way was to go to a location like guest services. Kind of tastes like a cruiser or something I had a couple of them when I was on my last cruise. Tasted pretty good to me.
Rare MeganGC1983 Posted May 27, 2022 #1236 Share Posted May 27, 2022 (edited) Despite the crap internets and the cold… I hope Greg is having a great time. And I secretly hope he confronts Andy over the Punchliner photos. Seems like a worthy cause to throw down. Or depending how you look at it, why they almost give away interior rooms on some sailings, freeing resources for the high port fees and excursions. This for us down at the cheapo end of the Carnival universe, i.e. the very cheapest cruisers in the U.S. 2

Those are indeed dolphins of the Cephalorhynchus commersonii family. The first time I saw them in Alaska I also thought Orca but the naturalist onboard had great information and confirmed they were indeed dolphins. hope you’re enjoying your trip. Alaska is a favorite of mine. We’ve been at least 8 times now.
