The hosts are the one's that are responsible for the offers you should receive.

What host?  I'm waiting/hoping for another free cabin offer.  Haven't received one since we sailed over New Year's.

Has anyone received casino deal lately? Has it been dried up?

Last time we were all posting about this I received an offer.  Fingers crossed.  I want to book the 8/7 cruise r/t Trieste but I don't want to pay for it.  😉

HAL's higher level players are being assigned executive hosts. As has been discussed here before as the ships are getting fuller the casino offers will start being less and less. I received an offer yesterday and one today. Yesterday for a single 21 day voyage and today for a dozen cruises or so.

With the ships sailing "fuller" no doubt the casino offers are less and less.  My DW played quite a bit on our 2 cruises last month and on neither did she get her normal letter from the casino the last day offering her some free play if she booked another cruise.

In November while on our casino Nieuw Statendam cruise I received an offer receiving some free play if I booked another cruise within 30 days.  I noticed some offers in my account for a few months after the NS cruise.  None now.  I will be on another casino cruise in May (16 Day TA, balcony) but this is an offer that appeared in my account a year earlier.  I happened upon it and booked it right away.  I am curious to see after this cruise if I receive any offers.

No new offers for me.  But I did just get a bunch from MSC (1st time for that; have only sailed them 4 times, last was last April).

Can't take advance of any upcoming freebies anyway since I leave in just over 3 weeks for 26 nights on Rotterdam.  Have 18 nights to Hawaii for November and I typically don't sail in the summer.

Given how many sea days we have on the TA, I'll probably be spending a lot of time in the casino.  Hopefully, I won't be bankrupt by the time I disembark.  The 2 5-nights I added to the end of the TA are freebies, so that was nice!

I haven't gotten any recently either, I was just on the Westerdam, my comeback and sail offer was for $600 in free play but no free cabin. Maybe in a month or so if the Alaska season isn't selling out.

We sailed in January - 22 day cruise.  Spent a fair bit in the casino.  Got chocolates / bottled water delivered to cabin.  No comeback offer.  No email offers since returning.  Haven't received anything in quite awhile.

Our casino offers have pretty much dried up. We did receive one for Alaska in late August 7 day $99 with a $25K slot tournament. Glad we took full advantage of the "free" cruises while they lasted and still have a couple more on the books.

I have received two offers in the last week. The offers have declined tremendously. They will continue to decline as the ships are sailing fuller. HAL has assigned personal casino hosts to their higher level players beginning approximately one month ago.

We’ve been on 2 fairly long cruises, played in casino, but only got free play offers, no rooms, we’re not getting any email offers. How are you getting offers, through email? On Carnival we can check our offers on line, but not on HAL.

We never received e-mails from HAL, only found the offers by searching all cruises under our log-in. I am referring to the $200 deals or free stateroom. Those deals appear to be gone. On Carnival we do get constant e-mails.

I get mailers from both Carnival and Royal Caribbean literally weekly (if not twice/week sometimes). It seems rather wasteful, but it must be working for them.

We have so many offers from carnival both e-mail and regular mail impossible to use them all. However we would prefer to go on Hal but the Hal website is almost impossible to use.To find a Hal cruise we look on a very Good and easy to use site that deals in cruise VACATIONS.Not sure why Hal site is so complicated?

Regarding difficult sites to navigate - you should give MSC a try... yikes !

Email and occasionally snail mail.

Just got one today, although conflicting info with email and the PFD download. Anyway email says :

Discover Alaska

Paul, this summer, sail to Alaska with these great offers and spend a week that will last a lifetime. Choose the Alaskan Explorer or Inside Passage and visit Juneau, the most remote state capitol. Sled across the Mendenhall Glacier. Discover the rich native history of Ketchikan. Take in the majestic sights – and sounds - of Glacier Bay. And enjoy thrilling casino action each night on board.

FREE Interior Stateroom*

$100 Casino FREE Play*

FREE Drinks While Playing in The Casino*

But the PDF of available cruises has prices from and cruises that are not Alaska itineraries:

I got that email a few hours ago as well and called the phone number and was told there is no record of that campaign yet. I was asked to call back on Friday as the rep said reservations get the new campaign details on Fridays. I wanted to ask about the discrepancies between the email saying 'free stateroom' but the PDF says different things... Guess I'll call back on Friday to find out what's what.

I received the same offer, but nowhere  in mine does it say free stateroom. The heading of the email said free which I guess is referring to free casino play. Nothing too exciting in this offer.

Yes I called yesterday and was told that even though the list of sailings show a price next to them, they are indeed a free stateroom. She then said you put a $100 down + taxes, port fees and that $100 is then considered on board credit. I asked her to clarify as usually it's $200 a per person but she said it's $100. I will probably call back and ask another rep just to be safe I am getting the correct info.

It appears that HAL has been making changes to their casino deals.  Many reports of no longer getting free cabin offers, fares showing up on website but no emails regarding them and different "deposit" amounts.

On our most recent deal we never did get an email offer, but the very low base fare showed up online, for more than usual however.  When I went to book a higher category the fare was the same as what I had booked previously when the base fare was lower???  Called my PCC and it took her a couple of days to get it all straightened out - it ended up being lower than previous deals somehow, so I was quite happy with it.

Bumping this old thread to ask a question:

I historically got offers on the last day of $750 off my next cruise + free play ($50? Can't recall right now). This past cruise we played a bit more and our offer was inside + $300 free play for any 6-14 night cruise in the next 12 months. That said, the rule of thumb was always to wait for the casino offers in email rather than take the offer provided at end of cruise since they tended to be better. That's been my experience now, with the last offer we received being a $200 free play + oceanview cabin, an obvious improvement over $750 off.

Having said that, is this it still good SOP for Casinos at Sea with HAL to sit back and wait for email offers rather than take what's provided by the host? I'd probably book on Zuiderdam for November on the 11 night over Thanksgiving, and $300 free play isn't insubstantial. Usually holiday weekend cruises other than Alaska, New England, or transatlantics don't make my offer sheet. That offer sheet I got was a huge improvement over past cruises and a similar difference in email offers would (I imagine) lead to more oceanview and balcony offers.

Speaking of Zuiderdam, if anyone has been on it very recently and is a video poker player, there's a question I'd love to ask about their progressive TDB machines in DMs before I book it again.
