Drinks!! Show me, Tell me, Guide Me.

Havent sailed RC since 2018.  Sailing in February 2023 on Jewel.  Have the Deluxe Bev package.  I hate bananas, coconut, whiskey, bourbon, creamy drinks.  Love Martinis, tequila,  vodka and good beer(stout).  Does anyone have pics of the drink menus(or can show me a link to that info), or have any drinks i should try.??  Which bars to get them at 🙂

The app has drink menus listed for each bar.  Regardless, you can ask the bartender to make anything that they have the ingredients for.  Drink package includes drinks up to $13; you pay the difference > $13.

Delete the app and then re-install.  As @Another_Criticsaid, the best place to find a list of drinks is the app.   But, any drink that your normally drink at home can most likely be found in at least one of the bars, although there may need to be made allowances for supply chain issues.

Check the Royal www site it will list the alcohols currently available.  We were just on the Navigator and I went into the "Irish" pub and they had never heard of a Black & Tan.  That was more than a little surprising.  I had to tell them how to make it.

I personally adore their peach daiquiri mixer (I get them without booze).  It's "fruity" but not "creamy" if that makes sense.

I'm also a fan of the Pretty-n-Pink (but I request it with light alcohol):

Do you mean it isn't working at all or your cruise doesn't show?

Open app and tap the little head and shoulder on the top line, then tap 'select a different  sailing.' Tap 'get more details on ships we support' then tap the ship you are interested in.

Tap this weeks sailing and then dinning and bars and lounges

Under each bar is a drinks menu. 

You can also use this method to check dinning menus in the MDR and specialist restaurants and what type of entertainment they have (though headline acts will change for future sailings)

 

This is this week's oasis sailing schooner bar, just keep scrolling down for full menu

This drink I gather is popular in America but certainly not in Ireland.

Finally came off my usual (for years) Gin and Tonic....and with the help of the best bartender in the fleet (Bruno on EX in the VCL) ....and a lot of experimenting with his help....I have a new favorite.   Vodka Sour.  

 

I am like you...can't stand fruity creamy "froo froo" drinks.

Oh! I need to try that Pretty n Pink! Always thought I didn't like gin until this summer when I had a drink on Mackinac Island made with gin, guava, lime juice, pomegranate juice and soda water. YUM! Thanks for the tip!

That sounds quite similar to the Pretty n Pink!  

I haven't been to M.I. in over twenty years, but been there many times prior to that.  Did ya pig out on fudge?  LOL

Not sure if he is still on EX.  They were doing a lot of crew changing ships.  

 

If he is...but most likely not in the VCL any longer...unless rotated back.  DO look him up!   They were rotating the bartenders every two weeks to various bars on board.  Ask around when you get on board if he is there...and where.  Please tell him Patricia and Bucky miss him and I want the Bruno special again!  (AKA Vodka Sour).  😉

We bought 3 different kinds for 5 people. I thought it was reasonable. We did have ice cream almost every day though too. LOL!
