Hello Fellow Cruisers, Need your opinion and appreciate your input.  During previous cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale, we stayed at the Marriott Harbor Beach and Largo Mar; both excellent pre-cruise stays.  Checking the prices currently, Yikes, have they got up!

We would like your recommendations on pre-cruise stays in Ft. Lauderdale that are a bit more reasonable and a nice place to stay before we cruise.  thanks for taking the time to respond and Happy Cruisin'.

Riverside here as well.🙂 When are you sailing? That always affects the prices. I am sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale in January and got a room at the Riverside for under 300.00. Not sure what your price point is.......I do have to say I LOVE the location of the Riverside. Right in the middle of the Blvd with a water taxi pick up point right there and tons of restaurants and shops on each side of the hotel.

Looks Riverside has great location for precruise but no airport or port shuttle service.  For those who have stayed there and cruised, what transportation services did you use?

I used a cab, both from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the port.

I hope that it's not surrounded by noisy party boats or bars that blast music. Hate to sound like a fossil, but we had a hard time sleeping the night before our Symphony cruise because of the obnoxious LOUD party boat that blasted music until at least 1AM.

I have stayed there many times over the years and NEVER had any noise issues.

And I am 64, don't consider myself an old fossil but no longer a youngster by any means.
