Nope,  I get up there at 6:00 am  most mornings and they are turned off.  The grounds container taken out and hidden,  Have to wait for Eduardo to come to set up the breakfast and turn on cleaning cycle.  Don't know when they turn it off.  Usually available at 6:30 - 7:00 am.  This is for both lounges.

That is how it was on Allure this past April. The area around the machine was roped off and there was no getting to it until 7AM. The guy who was putting out the breakfast stuff would not take the blockade down until 7 even though the machine was all set up and ready. It was really annoying. I can't remember what time at night that they shut it down.

That was my experience with the DL on Indy in July.

Who is Eduardo? The DL concierge is a lady.

 

Are you on Mariner now?

FWIW, the odds of me being there at 6am are zilch. But I could probably go at 1am

 

Might make it early the morning after clocks fall back to Eastern time

Holy 💩, it's October? No wonder it was actually below 60 here the past few mornings! The natives are dressed like snow is coming! 🤣

 

Tons of stuff is ship-specific of course; the DL concierge on Indy just made it sound like it was a fleet-wide mandate to turn the machines off overnight. He said people were breaking them while unattended (which made no sense to me since they could just as easily be broken during the day while the DL is unattended).

 

Needless to say, my wife and I have a very different cruise schedule than you do. She gets up crazy early to go running... that's when I used to go get my early morning cappuccinos and some "pre-breakfast" pastries from Cafe Promenade.

 

Found it very odd on Harmony that I could go to Park Cafe at 6:30am and get egg sandwiches and bagels but had to wait until 7:00 for the damn machine for my coffee. 1st world problems, I know.

VCL for drinks. We got strawberries delivered, so I brought them with us

 

But lounge had them as well 😉

Dinner had lots of issues unfortunately 

 

Could not get our previous table because 5:30 folks didn't arrive till past 6 😡

 

So we got moved to a ten top. The challenges of MTD

 

But staff wasn't expecting us, so i munched on bread and seeds waiting for our orders to be taken

 

Asian tacos were pretty good

 

Roasted tomato soup was just ok

Dug the croutons out so they wouldn't get to soggy

 

And this was a dissapointment

Lamb loin instead of lamb chops. 😪

 

Waiter did bring several plates of tiger shrimp

Still not used to the preparation 😕

Peach martini was quite tasty. Reminded me of the heavy syrup in canned peaches

 

Ran up to helipad for some night shots before karaoke in Star Lounge

Karaoke crowd was very different than night 1, but we did get some hillarious performances
