JG&Lcruisingnewbies Posted October 21, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2022 Hi, we’re due to depart S’hampton tomorrow, 22nd on Iona on other cruises I’ve been on I’ve known arrival & departure times for each port (but of course know they can change) p&o? Can’t find any! Bruges, Rotterdam, Hamburg nothing. Or am I being stupid? even the Cruise ship schedule for the ports don’t have times they are like, yeah it arrives. Then it leaves 😂 I’d like to plan a bit of our day in port. Can’t do shore experiences everyday & honestly, somtimes, I’d rather take my time & have freedom of when I leave ship & return… …if I only knew what time ship leaves. Bit important to know that 🤔 😂 I guess I’ll be finding out the night before docking then?! hope captain is in a good mood 😂
davecttr Posted October 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2022 P&O don't seem to do arrival and departure times. I guess this is to discourage passengers from booking independent tours
showingdiva Posted October 21, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 21, 2022 Southampton departure 6pm (maybe, because she's rarely away on time) Hamburg (27th) 7am - 7pm The rest seems to still be a random mystery of early mornings and early evenings.
Rare Eddie99 Posted October 21, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 21, 2022 Zeebrugge 05.30 - 18.00 Rotterdam 07.00 - 21.00 Found via Whatsinport.com but even that is not as helpful as it used to be. Bon voyage (and don’t sue me if what’s important is wrong or if I’ve transposed the details incorrectly)

CP should display a start time, and an approximation of the duration of the trip. A guesstimate at best though.
Rare TigerB Posted October 21, 2022 #6 Share Posted October 21, 2022 As Eddie99 writes, you could also have a look at the cruise ship movements for each port; I did that for a recent cruise and while not precise, it wasn't far off. I've also used Son of Anarchy's idea too.
wowzz Posted October 21, 2022 #7 Share Posted October 21, 2022 And even if you don't know the exact timings, if you book an independent excursion, all reputable companies will be aware of ship departure times.

They have always sent them to me about a month after asking. Here is an example of what they send
JG&Lcruisingnewbies Posted October 21, 2022 Author #9 Share Posted October 21, 2022 Thank you all for your replies. They certainly don’t make it easy!!! royal carribean, NCL, both tell you quite a while before you depart so I was pretty confused i looked on the actual cruise ports own schedules and for P&O the all said arrival date, departure date, then under the times it was just N/A. I’ve not used whatsinport before so thank you. Dummy bookings and emailing them- I’ll definitely do in the future. Thank you for finding out the times for me. Don’t worry, I won’t sue anyone, promise 😂 appreciate you all! 🙏 😊
majortom10 Posted October 21, 2022 #10 Share Posted October 21, 2022 They used to give you actual times of arrivals and departures but stopped doing it some years ago, Cunard are exactly the same.
purplesea Posted October 21, 2022 #11 Share Posted October 21, 2022 Venture Ashore are a company that organises excursions and they publish the arrival and departure timings, you just need to fill in your cruise details.
