Great.  So they refilled with a cocktail at the normal price but 16 oz vs. smaller size?

Looking for info on where the tumblers and souvenir glasses can be refilled.  Thanks.

That's what I was wondering about, too.  Once we buy the tumbler, where all can I take it to get refilled at?  For example, will they refill the 16 ounces (at the 12 ounce price) at the atrium bar?  What about the Serenity Bar?  The dining room?  I would assume it can't be refilled at Alchemy since those are craft cocktails.

Is this at all the bars or just the Red Frog and Blue Iguana?  That seems like a good deal since you are basically getting 33 percent more every time you get a drink plus you are getting a glass to take home.

One time we bought a souvenir fish cup (looked like a fish) on Carnival and that was a good deal (same thing where you got 16 ounce for the price of the 12 ounce), but I have no idea where it is now and it seems like we probably lost some of the pieces to it because it had about 4 pieces you had to keep up with...fish head, fish tale, cup inside and straw.

Any bar.  I brought both of the cups I bought 4 years ago and used it all cruise long at every bar I went to on the ship.  No issues,  16 oz at 12 oz price.  It's a great deal since you can use the cup over and over.  Just rinsed them out with hot water & a little soap each evening (or if switching drinks) and leave to dry on wash cloth overnight.

Just curious, but what drinks are you getting 16oz of at a 12oz price?  I'm trying to think of a drink that's sold in a 12oz size and honestly drawing a blank...

12 oz is the size of the regular cups they put frozen dinks in.  There is always some left in the blender.  When you use the tervis 16 oz cups, the entire amount is poured into your cup.  I can't even put the lid on it until I drink some down.  Also the drinks last longer in the tervis cups.

Oh ok.  I don't drink many frozen drinks so I guess I never really paid attention to how big they are.  Thanks for the response.

Has anyone gotten a Mojito or Bloody Mary in the tumblers?  Or any of the non frozen drinks?

Thanks for sharing.

I don't drink frozen drinks so I put my usual cocktails in the tumbler when on the pool deck. They make them in the usual drink shakers and pour the finished drink into the tumbler. I have noticed that the ice does take longer to melt. But I try to avoid melted ice by not lingering over my drink. lol

I bought a fishbowl on my first cruise. I bring it back every time.  Where else can I get a drink the size of my head filled for $20.  Was worth the initial investment!

Ohhhhh we may have to try that next time 😂

This might be a dumb question but if I buy the souvenir cup from Red Frog on Day 1 out of Galveston, can I then use it for the "16 oz refills at 12 oz price" once my Cheers kicks in on day 2? I know souvenir cups are on the Cheers exclusion list, but since I'd be buying it before Cheers was applied... just curious.

In our experience it is the cup that isn't included but the contents were. Our experience has only been with the shots in the MDR though. You could always transfer your drink into the tumbler.

I bought this on the Pride in February at the Atrium Bar. It was $7.95. They had several colors. They are insulated and had a snapon lid. Another guest told me you could not put hot liquid in it. There were no warnings on the tumbler. I only used for cold. The bars filled it with no issues. I received a lot of comments on the pretty color and asked where I purchased.

Just off Celebration, had intended to purchase an original “Tervis” tumbler with Carnival logo, asked at customer service who told me any bar, asked at several bars and not available, eventually got a beverage server who said they were only available on specific classes of ships, not Celebration, he was most knowledgeable, should be working at customer service - ha.

I second that quote! I just got off the Celebration too and was looking forward to getting a Tervis tumbler at the Red Frog Tiki Bar. Their staff informed me they don't carry them on the Celebration. I checked all fun shops just to see if there was any tumblers and they all said no their ship doesn't carry any.

The tervis tumbler looks great.  If they don't have those, do they have another souvenir glass (16 oz.) per the signs posted in the bars??  and thanks to the posters that report that you don't have to get the frozen drinks to get the 16 oz drink.  Still wondering if it might work in all bars including Alchemy???  Dreaming of sitting on the balcony with a 16 oz beverage....

Would love any updates on using the Tervis Tumblers.  I did notice in one cruise review picture that there were tumblers on the shelf of the coffee spot on Celebration I think it was.  Which made me wonder if buying them anywhere on the ship worked for getting the larger drinks and the regular prices??  Also wonder if you buy a non alcoholic drink would you get the larger size?

Thanks.

Are we allowed to bring any similar type cup onboard to use?

Yes you can.  We have two very nice insulated cups we got years ago as platinum guests and we bring them so when we have DOU in the casino we can fill our cups for later on.  Helps that they are opaque.

Tervis tumbler with lid is a great deal thru Carnival. Just an FYI they come in handy for lido drinks, or hot beverages too. No need to balance the little neon small cup or slop coffee from a mug. I like to carry a small canvas or tote for groceries on my shoulder and carry it in there (often filled) while getting my food. Often add the napkin silverware too. Much easier than a balancing act.

On the Spirit now. Tervis Tumblers are still $11.50. The perk is that they hold 16 oz. and they charge you for whatever you put in them at the regular 12 oz. price. 😎

my husband is asking is whatever you are drinking include beer on tap? the menu attachment says your favorite frozens
