It’s a great port for beach. If they switched Nassau to Bimini, I’d be very happy.

Once the port of Nassau is fully open I don't think a Carnival ship will ever call at Bimini again.

Perfect Thanks. We’re stopping at Nassau also we’ve been there before not a fan we will probably just stay on the ship. That’s why I’m glad to hear there’s a dock at Bimini just to get off and do whatever.

Been to Bimini twice. Once to the Resort beach (nice day; fun) and once we rented a golf cart and toured the island (also fun). It was used often in the early days of the restart. Absolutely 'fine' as an occasional Bahamas stop.

It's a really nice beach with great loungers.  It's relaxing for families, couples, whoever.  It seems like once the cruise ships leave, it's more of a clubby scene.  Some famous DJs and musicians have shows there--but it seems to only be at night.  You can get there by taking the free tram from  the port.

I found Bimini to be a MEH port.  The beach club is nice, the casino is nice, but eh, if its a longer cruise I guess having just a lazy beach day is nice.  I found the other side of the island outside of the resort to be a dump.  Id rather (and I cant believe I'm saying this) go to Nassau because at least you have the neighboring islands which are pretty cool.  In general though none of the stops in the Bahamas are really great in my opinion except Half Moon Cay.

What to do in Bimini?

It seems like kind of a chill place se we were thinking of doing the Resorts World Pool & Beach Experience. Any thoughts?

We did this excursion on our cruise. They have nice facilities and two nice, large pools and a gorgeous white sand beach with super clear water.

Unfotunately since it is a resorts world resort owned by Richard Branson (Virgin Voyages) they had a DJ who started playing current dance music non-stop around 10AM and even though we were down as far away from him as we could be, it was still loud down at our end. (walked to the bathroom and it was super loud down at his end)

Would have been nice to relax to some quieter caribbean music playing in the backround instead of thumping, loud dance music.

So if the music wouldn't bother you,  the facilities there are fantastic.

(some pretty good videos on you tube that walk around the facilities go you can see what they look like.)
