right after you on February 12, Wonder of the Seas.

So happy that this will be a Super Bowl cruise.

What day are you all going to stop in St. Kitts??

Our cruise will stop in ST. Kitts Thursday,  Ferbruary 16.

No. There’s a ton of crowd surfing. Security just makes sure they get down safe and don’t get on the stage.

There was an situation last week in Copenhagen where the Trivium singer had to stop the show and ask for more security to keep the crowd surfers from falling and breaking bones.

the casino bar and nightclub were jammed. The casino bar was electric, we had the whole bar and seating area behind it full, and people were dragging up chairs from slot machines to make a large peanut gallery in the back.

This would not make me happy.  😬

i’d also recommend the 12 day Carnival Venezia from October 28-November 11. I'll see you at the Italian Style Alchemy Bar

Definitely not doing that one. I’d have zero time in NYC if I did a 12-day cruise and in October it won’t even be decorated for Christmas anyway.

Any more upcoming concerts?  I like your taste in music.

The only one I have a ticket for right now is Metallica in August. Most of the upcoming ones are week night shows. Coheed and Cambria, Mastodon and Gojira, Powerwolf, Trivium and Beartooth.

I have been to one show at Jerryworld, ATT Stadium, and it was horrible.  The sound echoes inside because it is so big.  this was a few years ago, Guns and Roses.  I hope you have better sound.

I hate those large venues. But you really have no option with Metallica anymore. I tried to go see them at a smaller, outdoor venue a few years ago but I passed on the ticket because it was the same night as the NFC Championship game. Good thing too because the Saints hosted it...and got hosed. But I was there.

I’m eyeballing the December  Venezia cruises because I’d like to see New York decorated for Christmas. At this point I’m just going to wait until the NFL schedule comes out for this one as well.

In my opinion, the best Venezia cruise for this purpose would be the Nov. 30th 10 day cruise to San Juan, Amber Cove, Grand Turk, & HMC. Plan on seeing the decorations post cruise. The tree in Rockerfeller Center will be lit on November 29th. You don't want to be anywhere near there! :classic_cool:

Super bowl cruise on board the Splendor 2019.  I couldn't find a seat to save my life on the lido deck so I created one.

Normally I don't want to sit hours to save seats, but this time we did camp out most of the day on Lido, rotating to go get food, etc.  Such a fun vibe, and close to Blue Iguana.  :)

Jeff, I have had pretty good luck visiting the tree early in the morning. You don't get as good lighting - the tree is lit, but the lights aren't bright - but the crowds aren't there.

I'm excited to follow this report, I'm looking at a similar itinerary for next year. Aren't you booked for an ABC cruise in the future? Our next cruise is an ABC on the Horizon in September, I would love to know what excursions you're interested in. TIA

April 2024 is my ABC on Horizon.

I haven’t seriously looked into what to do. I do have notes I do sometimes years in advance. Checking that I have notes from May of 2020. Pandemic planning I guess. I don’t have anything started for curaçao. For Aruba I have flamingo beach and I guess a couple of excursions I was interested in. Top 10 of Aruba and best of Aruba. For Bonaire I have pink flamingos and salt flats.

I got my mail hold scheduled. Last time I forgot to do my in person one early enough to get it in before they were closed for Thanksgiving. I only did the online one and my mail did not get held. In person I've had them complain about me putting it in too early before saying "well maybe it won't get done."  But that's kind of every time anyway. I try to wait until the week of now. I turned the card in on my way to work this morning and I just did the online mail hold.

For those who do the all-state rewards they have this going on under sweepstakes. You can use your points for up to 200 tickets per day. The question is can I remember to log in and buy tickets next week. I doubt it. But I’ll try. I got my 200 today. It was 10,000 points for 200 tickets.

@Saint Greg  Looking forward to following along on another cruise adventure with you!

A little off-topic, but I wanted to offer my congrats on your website.  It must be getting some serious traffic these days because I Googled to find who will be our CD for an upcoming Alaskan cruise we've booked and your website popped up number 2 in the search results!  That's mighty impressive being listed at the top of any Google search result. 👍
