I will be on the WONDER OF THE SEAS & I love my cigar after breakfast ( only 1 a day ) & was wondering where can I go as not to bother anyone to enjoy my one & only vice?

Pool deck. I think its starboard. You will see others smoking and ash trays.

I've not been on Wonder yet but it's refreshing to see another smoker in the forum!  I see many non-smoking cruisers lamenting that we're allowed to co-exist with them so thank you for your post!

Port side on the pool deck. They have about 12 tables and chairs. Always crowded.

Wonder for whatever reason is opposite most ships and has the smoking area on the starboard side of the pool deck.

That's ALL? That is ridiculous. I just complained about the inconvenient and terrible smoking area on Serenade. And on a much larger ship, that's stupid.

I agree. I complained to customer service, and they said it was a corporate decision, which is one of the reasons I'm off of Royal now. On Celebrity there are at least 2 and mostly 3 comfortable places to smoke on their ships. I'm not counting inside venues because Celebrity doesn't have inside smoking anywhere.

I did avoid the smoking areas but the smoke from the casino came wafting in the 4th floor MDR.  Grant it we were seated very close to entrance.  We had a large group so didn't want the hassle of trying to reseat but the smoke was definitely noticeable and unpleasant while dining.

And I will also say we sat on deck chairs above the smoking area on 16 and again it wafted up.  So that's a whole other area that is affected by the smokers.

I am a never-smoker married to a former smoker, and I do understand the difficulty smokers can face. I am fine with designated smoking areas on board.

Exactly. Not smoking doesn't have any negative impact on the people around you. Smoking does have a negative impact on the people around you. They should be grateful they get any designated space at all.
