USB on each bedside light. However from a cybersecurity perspective, you should never plug your device into an untrusted USB port (malls, airports, hotels, and cruise ships).

Thanks for taking us along again Bird☺️

We will be back on Encore in January so will enjoy everything you will have to share with us.  Absolutely love this ship!   We sailed on her just before everything shutdown.  Can't wait to see your photos in anticipation of our next cruise on her.

It is very weird. Out of the 4800 passengers, only 200 have bookings like you. Maybe all of the newbie agents are having an effect.

Good point🤔

I've had some interesting talks with those rookies.  Good thing I have time to call back again (& again & again) until I find an agent who is a little more knowledgeable.

Muster. Last week, the Encore reverted to virtual musters which continue this week. As of muster time, there are still a lot of people who have not bothered to swipe-in at their muster station. That will force the cruise line to go back to in-person musters where they can clear the ship.

Oh, bummer- it's such a simple thing. I wish people would just follow the basics.

Cute.  I like that analogy. I suspect no offspring?

For the kiddos, they can hang at the Splash Academy.

The Late Night session (11:00-1:00) has an hourly fee. The Late Night and day sessions have a penalty fee for not picking your kid up on time.

The Splash Academy is using the NCL App Virtual Queue. You “line up” and can not drop your kid off until you get to the front of the line. If you get to the front of the line, you have 15 minutes to produce a kid at the Academy after which you forfeit your spot.

For the older kiddos, the Entourage is open. Sitting at registration, it sounded like a Cruise Critic thread with the kids comparing the Royal teen club to NCL. With the NCL teen team trying to convince them that NCL is by far more cool.

I'll be following along, too. We board her in 1 week - doing the Panama Canal transit. Of the ports on the 15 day Panama Canal cruise, we've only been to Miami and Los Angeles - so really looking forward to 2 weeks of relaxation and fun. We've never sailed on the Encore - so appreciate any ship-board tips you'll share. 🙂

We’ll be on that sailing through the Panama Canal in a week’s time as well. So also really curious about this thread 😃

What you should be getting out of the thread will be information about the ship and the types of entertainment onboard. Your cruise is a one-off, so there won’t be information on the “regular schedule” for the transit. And the ship can spread the entertainment out.

Key points: while the Cavern Club and The Social are small venues, they are trying to do shows in the main theater.

This week, the cruise was sold out and the ship is sailing at 120% max capacity, so the passengers are testing the ship and crew. Your cruise will be much more relaxed.

As the sun rises…..

Due to forecasted wind and sea conditions as a font passes in the afternoon, our call at Great Stirrup Cay has been cancelled.

And, due to a medical emergency, we will be docking in Nassau for a few minutes to evacuate an I’ll passenger

I don't understand the signs at the port that say "Check-In For Guests Without E-Docs" and "Check-In For Guests With E-Docs." Everybody gets E-Docs ... so, does this mean "check-in for guests who did not print them and have them on an electronic device instead" / "check-in for guests who printed them out"?
