I used to get 3-4 emails from Princess Players club for a free room every week. I currently have 4 booked. Last one I got was late June. Fast forward, they started up again, but now the offer is 1/2 price, not free anymore. Has anyone else stopped getting the good casino offers? I'm figuring that Princess is selling more rooms.

We used to get free casino offers too.  Now we get offers with 15% off and an OBC.  No big deal.  Not enough to motivate us to bite.  Guess Princess is getting cheap like everyone else.

We still have a standing offer of free inside and $250 free play on any cruise under 21 days. Of course the good bounce back we received on the last cruise of free balcony and $600 free play they can’t seem to find even though we have sent screenshots twice

Keep a copy! Even if you get it booked. I am still dealing with an paper offer I took in January.

Princess has started to pullback offers recently.  It also seems they are doing the same with Princess Plus, it’s not offered as frequently either

I think we are going to give the Carnival Jubilee a shot - have an offer for a free balcony and $500FP, plus drinks anywhere on the ship. Not a Carnival fan but this is a new ship so will give it a shot after we have used all our offers for 2023 with Princess.....four booked . Princess is just getting really weird about the casino offers.

Our offers are not as good either, and this is after doing 7 cruises in the past 18 months.  We have a cruise in 3 weeks and if our come back and play is not a free cabin, plus package, and free play money we will not book either.

 

We have a free cabin offer from Holland America, and we are planning to book something for next year, and then we will see what they offer.

 

Crusing may be on hold for awhile with us.

Got an auto reply saying this is your # and we have a large number of enquiries. 

Didn't hear back in over a month so sent another email, this time no auto reply?

Any help on how to contact them would be appreciated.

I figured mine dried up because on my last cruise I played until the last day with their $$ ($300 casino credit).  I never got up by more than $100 or down by more than $100 until the last day.  Then, I gave them $200.  Oops!

Neither have I and over 5 cruises I’ve lost $30k! Best was last year our bounce back offer was $500FP and balcony and Plus package.

same play on this cruise last week..only balcony and $500 freeplay, no plus.

EDIT: we’ve never gotten snail mail or email offers worth a damn..only the “earned” offers from the boat itself (use within 6 months of debarkation)

Ha!  Me too.  They can't find my bounce back offer on "the system".  I sent a screen shot.  Cue the crickets...

 

I'll try again tomorrow.  Geez, I'm new to Princess, but this is no bueno.  Back to NCL?

Never had a casino offer and although not a big spender visit the casino every day it is open when cruising  (82 cruises)  is there a secret to getting the offers of any sort

The offers are based on points - it seems if you get at least 4000 points - you will get an interior with $250 FP -  that is what my husband usually gets..I usually have 10,000 to 14,000 and get a balcony with $600 FP including the PP. Last cruise, no PP just the balcony and FP but then trying to claim the offer thru that call center is a totally different story....It is like pulling teeth.

It takes about 2 weeks for the codes to be in the system. On my last offer they used a place holder code to hold the booking and then transferred in the real code once it was available. This was June.

Outside of CBS offers your regular Princess consultant can book comp’d casino offers and help with issues. 
 

I put a casino cruise on hold due to a site glitch that kept listing my middle name as “undefined”, the next day a Princess rep reached out. He confirmed he is able to book comp’d cruises and completed the booking. He also helped with removing/refunding an incorrect transfer. He confirmed he can book  everything but CBS offers  and that we can reach out to him for future casino comp’d cruises.

I do not have a Princess consultant as I always use a TA so perhaps that is why although as said I do not play heavily

When you say points what are you referring to?  Is it the points that show on the slots after playing for days?

Yes those are the points used to calculate your offers. As a rule both my wife and I usually have well over 5,000 points per 7 day cruising

It's based on dollars-in.  Play higher denominations at a faster pace, get more points...but as any gambler will tell you: DO NOT PLAY FOR COMPS.

thanks - If I'm $1,000 dollars-in - how many points do I get?  and does it matter if that's in a couple of hours one day - or over the length of the cruise?

Someone more educated on Princess' points structure will clarify, but I recall from last month, that when I played $5 per spin/pull, I accrued one point.  With that in mind, let's say I spin every 10 seconds at that level: that's 360 spins per hour, 360 points, $1,800 run through the machine.  

 

How/when/if they provide comps is tied to your expected losses, which is linked to the points, which signals dollars through the machines.  There's no exact science that they'll reveal, but as far as I know, if you play for a few hours over a few days and start building points, perhaps you'll get an offer.

 

Oh, if you play table games, the staff will 'rate' your play, how many dollars per bet and how long you play. 

 

Have fun playing.  If you enjoy yourself, don't lose more than you can afford to, AND you get a comp, then that's a win-win-win.
