This cruise seems insane! A shame though that it is in August, I would go in June, If I remember correctly it only stays in Svalbard for one day. That's a bit a shame for such a long trip.

It does have June 2025  MSC Preziosa

You should go for that. Absolutely fantastic cruise! The only downside is the short stay on Svaldbard and the weird overnight stop in Honningsvag. We have already visited Geiranger twice, so that missing port wouldn't bother us so much.

@Ourusualbeach  We are looking for a 7 day or so out of PC Nov/Dec 2025 and late Feb 2026.  I'm only seeing Adventure coming up (which is fine), but will there be any other ships doing a week or so out of PC, and if so, when would that be released?

Star is the week of Dec 4th.  Rest of the itineraries (including short sailings) in February

$$$$ for any assigned cabin only the GUA are normally priced! Overnight in Vigo in cold, rainy fall - what a dream!😜🥶🫣

I can find 7 days cruises that actually go places that are higher priced then this TA, then this 14 day cruise that really doesn't go anywhere. Think it is priced accordingly for what it is.

I'm seeing an overnight in Lisbon, not Vigo. 🤔

Just curious when you are booking a next cruise certificate, is it best to just book the cheapest price and then look for reductions later? This is higher priced by 25 to 30% than my previous 4 TA’s in the last 5 years. Just trying to strategize because they are okaying the game of sold out categories already. Usually dont have an issue booking upon release but this is very different. Unless they have a bunch of group bookings.

They are faking this to make you book! They will become avalilable over time...

I understand but I just have another 1 month to get the OBC. Really more interested in comments about strategy of booking the cheapest category and then upgrading. Not worth paying a premium and also not getting cabin choice. Never had to contend with this before TBH.

Wait - not worth it right now....

Nobody knows - as it is a new game they play!

I guess they have zero interest in experiences cruisers anymore. We just pay the bills but dont create profit margin. They are looking for a different demographic but they wont get it on a TA

Agree - but they think diffrently and have some success - never seen so many kids on a TA the last 20 years - as in the last 2 years....as many as 10x more than what it used to be!🤢

That could be because an increasing number are homeschooled.

Looks fairly similar to the Spring itinerary.

I used to prefer the Caribbean loaded ports for the Southampton TA’s - Azores then straight across. Lisbon is interesting and I have never been to Vigo.

Tons to see and do in Lisbon and the surrounding area, great food and wine, busy nightlife and the ship parks literally in the city centre. It's a brilliant stop for an overnight.

I was underwhelmed by Vigo, although we did enjoy a really delicious lunch in a place off the main tourist route when we managed to get a bit lost. 😂

thanks.
yes I have enjoyed Lisbon.

I have enjoyed most Spanish stops that I  have done even if it is just wandering around and Vigo would be new.
