Taking drink on board

I can imagine this has been asked before but I can't see it anywhere,can you take alcohol on board at the start of the cruise please guys?

You can bring a limited amount of wine. But that's it.

I have heard that Royal are ruthless.If they catch you smuggling drink onboard they cancel your booking on the spot.

I have never had any problems when buying 2-4 local beers on a stop and bringing them back in my backpack its the booze they really do mind about...

Do you know someone or heard that this has actually happened. That seems pretty drastic. I know of someone that they took away the liquor but not cancel their cruise.

They were joking. Also about walking the plank. Some here have a very bad sense of humor I've been seeing lately on a few threads. .. maybe they need to add smiley faces after or something.
