Happily@Sea Posted November 15, 2023 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2023 It's not normaI, but I have been up for the last two sail-ins, wonder if I'll also be up for this one. I definitely plan to be here for sailaway.. It may be wet in PEV/FLL tomorrow if it is like today. They've had some flooding there. Coming from Europe, Oosterdam may have later boarding and leaving. We'll see.

Rare POA1 Posted November 15, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 15, 2023 It is windy, rainy and generally fugly in Fort Lauderdale. It looks like it will be this way through Thursday night. All our phones rang with alerts from the city yesterday to tell us that 6-8 inches of rain are expected. Pretty much the entire area is made up of those low lying areas they warn you about in these situations. Looks lovely for the weekend, but not for the Oosterdam.

Kind of what I expected from yesterday's weather and the fact the whole state is getting this storm/front. We aren't getting the volume of rain - yet. But we do need it. Petunia1950 Posted November 15, 2023 #11 Share Posted November 15, 2023 And she was confirmed for a 3:45 pm departure. I hope Oosterdam isn't as late as she is ... But good things are worth waiting for !
Happily@Sea Posted November 15, 2023 #12 Share Posted November 15, 2023 With the weather in Fort Lauderdale and the fact the BHB had to go through extra US paperwork, I wouldn't be surprised if 6 pm is maybe the earliest possible leaving time.
