Well dear sir, we may just have to agree to differ on this.  "Some" might suggest that anything outside of the Whisky/Gin/Vodka/Ale family is "undrinkable swill."  I drink whatever DD orders to rehydrate and support the cause.

 

Do you really find it hard to abide the appearance of a fancy bottle?🤣  I'm guessing you won't be enjoying my company on a future cruise.  Sure, we might cruise together though.....😎

So, are you saying that when my DD orders Prosecco for us at lunch, that she's essentially slapping DW and I in the face and subjecting us to severe punishment?  Yikes.  I guess to each their own....  Some of us just hang with our friends and family and don't care what they drink/eat/etc.  I actually have found that this is a great way to make new friends as well. 😎

I actually like the Prosecco (not the DUC they put in the cabin) and, not as much as Veuve, but I drink my fair share of the swill🍾

LOL.  🐀's  generally won't turn their noses up at any of that stuff.  Back 123 years ago when I was a kid, my traditional parents, and every other adult in the small town I grew up in (they were all the same on some level), preached to every kid that it was their duty to consume whatever was placed in front of them on the dinner table.  If not they would, God forbid, be "different."  So, if I drink a Prosecco (or some other 💩swill that placed in front of me by a fine server), I'll just blame the parents. 😎

 

Maybe I just don't have a "bad" DD, but had "bad" DM and DF (both RIP) as well?  Boy this world gets complicated when snooty people tell the rest of us how to live our lives.  I need a cruise...

Yep, that was the mantra.  Eat a bunch of crap that you don't want/need because somebody else doesn't have what they need.  Logic took a beating back in those days (still does).

The worst part was how the entire cruise (including us) all basically got colds/crud from that day.  People look at me weird when I tell them the worst weather I ever had getting on a ship was in LA.  Supposed to only be sunny there I guess.  LOL

WiFi is super slow. I may have to wait until Cabo to post pics. Last night was a blast. Parties all over the ship. We wound up at the pool deck dance party. We counted down to 2024 there. Then we bar hopped and called it a night around 1:30 or so. Crappy weather today as expected. I think I need a little hair of the dog but coffee first.

Don't remember... that was our Canada trip we did with my folks and the one where I caught Covid for the first time. So didn't get to see a whole lot of the smaller acts, and I was in lockdown for the last 3 days of the trip.

Happy new year! Enjoy the trip, anything you're able to share with those of us tagging along vicariously is a bonus - so don't feel obligated to struggle with wifi when you can focus on just enjoying your time with friends and family.

It literally made my head explode when I heard that people were now buying cars without spare tires because "nobody ever gets a flat."  A lot of us have lived long enough to know how absurd that is.  Her mission, should she decide to accept it, is to now go onto the internet and widely report that spare tires are a REALLY good idea!  She'll likely go down in flames....

My last car had run flat tires that do work. The jeep gladiator Rubican I drive now has the Full spare but it weighs a ton.
