sixpackeddie Posted January 29 #1 Share Posted January 29 We recently became Elite plus. Is the only difference the additional bag of laundry?
kwokpot Posted January 29 #2 Share Posted January 29 (edited) The most important additional benefit is complementary espresso-based coffee drinks (non alcoholic) from either the dining rooms or Cafe Al Bacio. Some of the discounts on other things are slightly higher. Edited January 29 by kwokpot
Rare mahdnc Posted January 29 #3 Share Posted January 29 Important additional benefits are in the eye of the beholder as we are not into espresso-based coffee. On the other hand the increase of free Wi-Fi minutes from 90 to 240 is welcomed by some.

It would be nice if Celebrity allowed the value of the free minutes to be applied immediately to the purchase of longer Wi-Fi packages.
miched Posted January 29 #5 Share Posted January 29 Look on Celebrity’s website. There is a chart showing and comparing the differences for the levels. Happy cruising cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Specialty dining cover charge 15% off, and the coffees, lattes, expressos, as was mentioned earlier. Not very much for achieving a higher level..Underwhelming to say the least..Average number of cruises to reach that level, is 36.. Of course longer cruises, and higher room category, would lessen that amount.

When you first login you get the choice: take the minutes or use it as a discount. Better still if you are a couple, use one lot of 240 mins first then decide if the second 240 will last the rest of the cruise or be better spent on a discount on a full package for the last few days. We have never used our 240 x 2 free minutes.

We also get water, sodas, and tonics in unopened bottles/cans during the happy hour. We don't need unlimited wifi. Therefore the free lattes/teas etc plus 240 minutes wifi is a huge saving and the extra bags of laundry is a bonus on long trips.

Not sure what you mean by "stack" but when you first sign in on the ship you have the option to use your minutes or have a discount on an unlimited package. In other words you cannot use your Elite+ free minutes and, for example, the 35% Elite+ discount on a Wifi package. So the free minutes value would go towards the regular pricing for a 7 day wifi package, NOT a 7 day wifi package PLUS a 35% discount. It says so right on the Elite+ Benefits sheet. Personally the 240 free minutes at premium speed is a great deal as we have no need of an unlimited package.
jelayne Posted January 29 #16 Share Posted January 29 Since each E+ gets a choice of 240 minutes or the discount. 1 can get 240 and share the other can use their discount on a package. DH doesn’t use 240 in 14,days, I on the other hand can get a 1 device package with the discount.

One of us in the past has dis-remembered...LOL....I went to IT Lab and they reinstated the time. There's a log they have access to and can tell it's minutes not used. Hopefully this helps others.
