Transfers to Rome

Where does the Celebrity transfer from Ravenna to Rome drop passengers off?

I’m surprised they do transfer between those cities as that is a 4-5 hr drive.

Definitely double check that.  I don’t think there are transfers between Ravenna And Rome

On my Constellation cruise that ends in Ravenna in July there is not a Celebrity transfer to Rome. There are transfers to Ravenna train station, Bologna train station, Bologna airport, Venice airport and Venice city centre.

They only transfers I've know from Ravenna is to Venice.    Ballona is the closest airport but not sure if they also offer shuttles there.

There is no such transfer.  The best way to get to Rome is by train.  Or transfer to Bologna airport and fly.

I realized I made a mistake. I meant the transfer from Civitavecchia to Rome by Celebrity.

If this is the one you are referring to it says the Ostiense Station.

In the case of Civitavecchia I have always used Stefano's RomeCab for over 10 years.  https://www.romecabs.com/

I used the Celebrity transfer this past October. It was worth the money. While we were on the bus a representative who was on the bus with us took names of people who required a taxi when we arrived at Obstiense Station. The taxis were waiting for us when we arrived.

For people needing a taxi after taking a Celebrity transfer wouldn't it be just easier to take a private transfer from the ship to wherever you need to go?

No, private transfers can be extremely expensive

The Celebrity transfer isn't inexpensive. If you have a party of 4, it would actually be less expensive to take a private transfer. And if one is mobility challenged it absolutely makes sense to take a private transfer. You have to look at the whole situation.
