B2B procedure

We are on our first B2B in December in the same SV cabin. I booked these directly with Celebrity online. I didn’t bother to call to get the $50 discount. So my question is, does Celebrity automatically recognize that we are B2B or do I need to either call ahead of time or go to guest services to be sure we are on the list for disembarking and embarking after the first cruise?

We have done B2B many times. Celebrity will know you are B2B.
You should receive a letter whilst on board ( a few days before the end of your first cruise) notifying you of procedures for B2B passengers.

Have a wonderful time, all will be well!

We have a unique situation, coming up, next year -- it's a B2B on Summit. We have the same cabin booked for both cruises. The only wrinkle is that the first week of the B2B is a Jazz Cruise Charter -- followed by the first week of Summit's return to regular service (after at least a month of charter cruises). We may very well be the only B2B'ers onboard, and worry a little that we could get lost in the shuffle, so to speak. We are in a SkySuite for both cruises, so we'll talk to the Retreat Concierge, when we first board. Hoping for a seamless transition, on turnaround day!🤞

How amazing it would be to be the only ones on the ship for a little while! Reminds me of the cruises when it first started back up!!! I think being in a suite will help it go smoothly!

That was our experience on a Galapagos B2B. Even nicer since there were no immigration or customs formalities.

It’s been awhile since I did a B2B on Celebrity, but I remember when checking in online they want info on how you are arriving and leaving after the cruise.  With the first leg there is an option for ‘continuing cruiser’ or some such, which tells them you are staying on the ship for the next cruise.  EM

Did my first B2B in December on the Summit and it was very easy.  Butler met with me the day before and gave me the letter and reviewed the process with me.  We all met up in a small meeting room and once everyone was there they handed us our envelope with the new sea pass card and off we went.  Left the ship went through security with our passport and escorted back onto the ship.  The entire process took 15 minutes.

Thanks for the input, you guys! It has been a long time since we've done a B2B on X (or anywhere). Nice to know that they still have a process in place. Yes, looking forward to being one of the few pax on the ship, for an hour or two -- plus, not having to change cabins!!😎

We will be going on our first B2B in January/February on the Eclipse and so I really appreciate all of this input.  I was wondering what time and how long this process takes.  In other words, approximately what time do we meet up in a meeting room on the turnaround day?  And, how long does it take to leave the ship, go through security and get back on the ship?  We are staying in the same suite on both cruises.  Do we need to take anything with us, besides our passports and sea pass cards?  I'm thinking about making a spa reservation that day and was needing to know if I would be safe making it for noon.

We just did a B2B on the Ascent in FL. We had to meet at 830am in a meeting room. Time and place to meet varies by ship and port. Process takes 15 minutes unless there is an inspection that day. Then it could vary from up to an hour. There could be 10 to150 people doing this process. Just go with the flow and read your instructions and listen. They may give away prizes depending on how many. It all depends on the ship. They give away wine, spa credit, X stuff, and speciality rest meals. This was last cruise on Ascent where about 60 were on B2B. In other words it varies all the time.

Did B2B on Royal and was advised by loyalty representative to make a stop at guest services and confirm they know you are doing B2B.  Did that the 2nd day early in the morning, no lines, and all was OK.

B2B cruises can differer from ship to ship, itinerary to itinerary, and always from cruise line to cruise line. You will receive a  detailed TAD letter a day or two prior to your TAD for your specific B2B cruise. Everything you need to know will be outlined in that letter. My advice is go to the TAD meeting prior to your TAD. You will receive an invite a day or two prior to your TAD.

Strange, you did not ask for the $50 B2B discount.  It might be applied.  Take a look.  If not, either you or your TA likely will need to request same.

Our CVP added $50 to each leg of the cruises.  If you booked online it would have been missed ( I think).  I'd call X directly and let them know you're on a B2B.

We just did this on Reflection......they kept our Sea Pass from the first leg on when we disembarked on turnaround day.  However, yesterday (last day) there was an envelope in our room with our Sea Passes from the first leg in case we wanted to keep them.  We hadn't said anything - this just "happened".
