Happy Anniversary & enjoy the family cruise.

I also have a 10:30 check-in time & a 4:00 pm sail away time, from terminal 5. Not sure if we'll be passing Utopia but if so, I'll make sure to wave to Daryl

I was going to post a picture of the delicious hotel food, but it wasn’t anything to write home about.

Meanwhile, we all watched the safety videos and are ready to report to the muster station, once onboard.

Note, for those who don’t know, those will say complete when you have watched them.

Happy Embarkation day. Let’s get this Anniversary celebration going! I think a celebratory glass of champagne is in order for you and Susan.

Cheers!

We reserved an Uber XL for our 4 minute ride to the port.   Cooler weather, and we would have walked it. Price $49.

I guess when you consider the usual hotel shuttle costs to a port (HIExpress doesn’t have one) it isn’t bad.

The line at 9:30.

Speaking of Muster stations...does anyone know how to find a map of your ships stations?  We are C1 on Icon and I like to get 'er done early.

$12 pp for hotel shuttle from Residence Inn.

2nd row seating, just waiting for the doors to be thrown open!

The tip for boarding day is to wear your swimsuit. Slides and pools are not crowded at all at that time. We have already done the slides a half dozen times.

My California grandson is on his tour of bathroom art.

I can’t believe that with as many times as we have sailed, my wife was never aware of these. I guess the women’s rooms don’t have art.

Open loungers at 12:25

A word of warning about this location.  If someone really big goes down that orange slide, I have seen the wave top that glass wall and soak that row.

Explains the open loungers. Even the chair hogs know about this.

I was thinking it's so darn hot a spray of water might feel welcome. Way too hot today and humid. Happy anniversary and enjoy the grandkids.

I have never observed bathroom art in any of the women's restrooms on any of the ships we've cruised. Not fair IMO. Women sit, men stand, so you'd think the men should keep their focus on what they're doing and not looking up at a wall.😲 No offense intended. Is there art in the men's sit-down stalls as well?
