Why is it so difficult ...

Recommended Posts

You need to allow at least an hour for your call to be answered, sometimes more than that. In May, it took 1 1/2 hours for me to order a birthday cake - 1 hour and 20 of that I was on hold for. I can't recall it ever being different!

The bottom line is that P&O do not have enough call centre staff.

What I find interesting is that as well as P&O there is both Princess and Cunard in the same building and when calling the others the phone is answered almost immediately.

Why is it so difficult to get through to P&O 0345 355 5111 ?

I have been hanging on for 25 minutes then gave up ...my query can't be done online.

Tried early morning and early evening .

https://www.pocruises.com/contact-us     0344 338 8003

Try this number at 10am prompt tomorrow , if your call is not answered, wait for

the option of a ring back (Think it will be option 1 )

Better than holding line for 25 mins .

I had plenty of problems with NCL, but they always answered the phone quickly! If only they could have fixed the IT problems that said I owed them over £1000 after I had paid in full, among other glitches. They make P&O look like technologically advanced geniuses (genii?)

I never thought that I would see P&O or any of the Carnival brands described as "technologically advanced" though I have never tried NCL.

We tried customer services a week ago was told on automated message it would take an hour if we did not want to wait they would call back on the number.

So decided for them to call back they did but 3.5 hours later they called back and we missed the call as did not expect them to call as this was after 7pm when the did.

Also returned from our holiday over 8 weeks ago and emailed customer services as we had a problem on our cruise received acknowledgement three weeks later and said we would be contacted within 28 days still no contact .

Will try again tomorrow .

Remember that it is Bank holiday tomorrow so it could be a "Sunday" service

Strange that it did not ask you to press number  ? to pay for a cruise or ?? for

a other options you can select .

I did for me a few Sundays back, ring back was offered ,once I had selected an

option I wanted to talk about . That rang for about 5mins and then gave me the

offer of ring back .. About 35 mins later I got the call.

Good luck with tomorrow, the link I sent you does say open tomorrow but being

a bank holiday would ring first thing .

Unfortunately I booked our cruise when on a previous P& O cruise .

You can always transfer these to your favourite TA, and get any discount they offer as well.

If you booked through a travel agent they always ask if you want to transfer the booking to them.

With P&O customer services every day is a Sunday service, and often when that Sunday falls on Christmas Day……
