SHIP: Silhouette

CABIN #: 1407

DECK #: 10

CLASS: Concierge (C1)

AREA: Aft

BED NEAR: Bath

QUIET?: Very quiet

BALCONY VIEW: Perfect view out the back - no view to either side

BALCONY SIZE: Normal veranda size

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: Yes (balcony had to be cleaned daily and any items left out had to be brushed off)

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: As there is no overhang the balcony will get the full sun. Also, being a normal sized balcony, with the concierge class footstools, space is quite limited.

SHIP: Solstice

CABIN: 1603

DECK: 11

CLASS: Aquaclass

AREA: Portside Midships just in front of aft elevators

BED NEAR: Bath

QUIET: except for pool deck parties and not so loud you couldn't sleep

BALCONY VIEW: Completely forward

BALCONY SIZE: oversized angled to see all the way to the bridge as on the hump

WIND A PROBLEM: a bit windier than some but not a problem on this itinerary

SOOT A PROBLEM: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: this cabin was very creaky from cabin walls and ceiling and we never had rough seas. The large beds take up so much room with the wardrobe being difficult to access and tiny bedside tables that held little.

The large sofa was nice and the fridge worked really well keeping meds and drinks cold. Cabin attendant Joel was very good. Would recommend this cabin and book it again.

Would recommend

SHIP: Celebrity Equinox

CABIN #: 1100

DECK #: 10

CLASS: Inside

AREA: Midship (just fwd of the library)

BED NEAR: side wall as in balcony cabin

QUIET?: Extremely quiet

COMMENTS: Very roomy cabin with ample storage space... actually felt roomier than balcony cabins we've had on S-Class. Much of this has to do with a more square-ish shape to the room rather than the standard shoebox. I would book this room again in a heartbeat! Plenty of space around bed as well!

SHIP: Reflection

CABIN #: 2179

DECK #: 12 - Resort

CLASS: Sky Suite

AREA: Just Aft of midship elevators - Port side.

BED NEAR: Closest to bathroom with plenty of room at the end of the bed. QUIET?: Quiet from any noise in hallway.

BALCONY VIEW: Covered balcony, with pole in center of balcony view. No big deal. (See photo)

BALCONY SIZE: Long and wide enough for two chairs and footstools, and large round table, plus some.

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS:

As I had read in other reviews, the cabin does creak and squeak with the ship is at full speed or in rough weather. It was no bothersome enough to report. Also, we knew it had been reported before and nothing could be done, apparently. We did not want to cabin to be taken apart while we were staying in it.

We also had noise from above with rolling carts from the OV Café. Again, it did not bother us that much. We sleep with a white noise machine, so the noise was muffled at night. During the day, the noise sounded like a small child running across the floor.

SHIP: Equinox

CABIN #: 8253

DECK #: 8

CLASS:

AREA: Midship - forward facing hump, port side

BED NEAR: Sliding door

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY VIEW: Very good. Looking down from 3 decks up, this cabin is right where the life boats end. There is a large white box of some type, but there is a break between the life boat and the box so you can see straight down. Otherwise looking out, forward/backward is unobstructed. Even looking down between those 2 things is still a good view.

BALCONY SIZE: Large

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Very please with this cabin, does not adjoin and it's close to the elevator. Our son had 8255 and it was just as nice, but a slightly smaller balcony. Bed was near the bathroom.

SHIP: Silhouette

CABIN #: 1666

DECK #: 11

CLASS: Concierge

AREA: Aft

BED NEAR: Bathroom

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY VIEW: Standard

BALCONY SIZE: Slightly larger than standard

WIND A PROBLEM?: None

SOOT A PROBLEM?: None

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: It's the last balcony on the starboard side, so it juts out a bit on one side giving it a few extra square feet. Very handy if you want to get the foot stools out of the way and have a meal on the table. No real aft views, just out of the side of the ship. Completely covered, so not much sun exposure.

SHIP: Equinox

CABIN #: 7310

DECK #: 7

CLASS: 2B

AREA: Aft Starboard

BED NEAR: Balcony

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY VIEW: Good view straight out - especially from bed. Looks down on top of tender

BALCONY SIZE: Regular - 2 chairs and table

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Nicely laid out cabin. Great storage for suitcases under the bed (fits 4 suitcases). Storage over bed very useful as drawer space is limited. No noises noted. Easy walk to elevators and stairs. Walking the stairs up to decks 12 (pool) and 14 (Mast Grill, walking track) and down to deck 3 (MDR and Celebrity Theatre) and deck 5 (Café al Bacio) very easy from deck 7. Helps burn those calories!

Ship: Solstice

Deck - 10

Cabin # - 1124

Class – C2

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – Balcony

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Mainly quiet. There was quite a lot of refit work going on, so there was more noise than usual in most cabins.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Cabin is on the slope of the bounce-out, so view forward is somewhat restricted. great view otherwise.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Because of the bounce-out position, this cabin has an oversized balcony. We think it is worth the restricted view.

Was wind a problem? No.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? No

Any specific problems with this cabin? No

Any other comments? Very convenient to the aft stairs, without being right on the landing. Close enough to the Oceanview Cafe to walk up and down.

Ship: Equinox

Deck - 7 (Sunrise)

Cabin # - 7117

Class – 1B

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – Balcony

Mostly Quiet Cabin – A bit windy. A panel was making noise on balcony until fixed with Duck tape. Could hear anchor being lowered when we arrived in ports. Did not bother us. Balcony was nice - not too sunny. Room was comfortably cooled.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – About 4' metal lip below balcony. Could not see straight down. Otherwise, unobstructed view.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal size balcony. Directly underneath the bridge extrusion. Could not see into bridge.

Was wind a problem? Noisy if balcony door was slightly open - quet when shut tight.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? Long walk to elevators. Longer walk to dinner. Worked off a few calories. No problem.

Any other comments? Room steward (Baso) was very nice and kept our room well picked up.

Can someone please tell me where the spread sheet is for the hump cabins on the Reflection and Silhouette. Many thanks

Hi, there is not a separate spreadsheet for those cabins.....if you

know a cabin number? You would scroll down and see if someone else

has previously had that same cabin and then see if they have written

about it. It goes in numerical order.
