Casino Royal "players club"

I don't really care what the codes are.

I do care about the types of offers, staterooms and discounts I receive from CR.

I do care if my table play is being tracked accurately. Twice has not. I made calls and received adjustments good towards following cruise.

The casino host and manager know who are the CR members on each cruise - I always talk to the host and asst. host (if there is one) and the manager (though on one of our cruises the host doubled as the manager.) And the host has the stickers for seapass/ tickets for drinks.

I play slots and tables. Don't forget to use your sea pass card in machines - Tracks your points and you could end up with merchandise, dinners, spa time or more machine play...the points you earn for "trade in" will end with the end of the cruise. So use 'em up. What you play tracks and then is factored in on future CR offers.

If you are a table player you can ask the manager for what they show as your average bet(s) when you leave the casino at the end of each of your sessions. You can do this every day so when the info is transmitted at end of cruise you know what it should be when you call to book your next cruise. The information you are given should match what has been sent in your profile. Also on the tables, make sure the dealer has what you bought in with and ask what they have you betting. If there are any discrepancies while you are on board you need to speak to the manager or host.

PS - on a few occasions the discounts and OBC I have received for a future booking while on board is a better price for me than the CR prices. When I book on board I always contact CR when I am back on land to see what they price they can offer me. And then I call at least once a week to see if CR pricing has gone down - which many times it has and they always make adjustment with new booking invoice in those cases.

It seems CR is still a work in progress from the "big announcement".

What is the phone number to call to check if I have any discount codes? Thank-you

Did you have any success, were CR able to pull up your gambling history and see if you were eligible for any future discounts based on your previous cruise bankroll?

I am not being snarky here, but if you understand , you're probably way ahead of the rest of us......lol! I am just happy we all seem to be still getting decent discounts. CR has been "rolling out the new program" for over a year..... it's almost as bad as the IT department. I wish they would get with it instead of all of us prior CR VIPs trying to make sense of it.

I guess I should have said I "think" I understand how I got my discount and why no codes on my invoice. Not how all the levels and codes are determined , nor the perks.

We will get there. At least no body is complaining about overcrowded Casino seating yet and that only D+ and P should get a seat. Sorry, meant as humor and nothing else. Lol

Great info. When you refer to contacting the casino host, is this the same person as say, the pit boss, the manager who is watching over like two or three table games. Generally wears a coat and tie. Or is this someone watching over the entire casino. At land and river based casinos, I generally make sure the pit boss knows me. Typically they are notified when one buys in for chips with a above average buy in or places a higher than average bet. I am pretty sure if I place a Black chip or higher on Outside Roulette , the dealer will notify the pit boss of a higher than average bet on the table. I have often asked to exceed table Max on a bet and the Pit Boss must be notified. Table Max on Roulette generally is $200 on most cruise ships I have been on.

Okay, been trying to follow this (and the other CR thread) to get a clue. I am not a whale by any means. I'm a penny slots player (unless I'm doing really well, and might bump up to a larger denom). And I do play every day when we cruise, but not all day long. Yet, in the past year or so I've gotten all sorts of offers from CR for discounted sailings, free play money and even last year I got a free cruise. Yet, when I got on the ship for that sailing, they said I was not a CR 'member' (if that's the correct term). I would love to call CR to find out if I'm eligible for anything else, but I'm afraid if I do, I'll trigger something where they remove me from all my offers. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Cruisegirl1,

You do have to go through Casino Royale to get the discount. However, you can call CR and authorize them to work with your TA on your behalf. I usually book direct with CR, but once we were doing a large family cruise and had to use a TA for the group and that was how I had to handle it.

Thanks Mary. I wanted to go with the TA because I receive booking incentive benefits. Both TAs I called said I had to use CR. Perhaps because I was within final payment window for the cruise I want, or perhaps because the booking would require extra phone calls and time.

As far as I can tell, the CR benefits (pricing) was better than what I would get from TA (pricing and OBC) , but I was hoping to get both ( the CR pricing and my TA OBC) . The CR pricing was better than a cabin using my D+ discount. I guess most of you on this thread already know that. I am not new to gaming, just new to receiving any actual benefit other than a polo shirt.

Thanks for all the good info.

Marci

Casino host usually is seated at a desk area somewhere in the casino - host is not the same as pit boss. Host is not the same as manager (though on one sailing she was doing double duty.)

Both threads you have posted on recently have been shutdown

Please don't try and get this one shutdown :)

You will certainly P off a lot of members.

This is not a C&A thread for smoking or overcrowding thread or lounge thread,

There is plenty of room in the Casino for all to enjoy, all levels, all dress codes, smokers, non smokers all ages (21 and over obviously) as that is LAW.

This thread exists for topics related to the Casino Royale Program

And yes discount codes are very relative to the program:)

Try and be a good boy:D

We rely on this thread to gain knowledge about CR as no New program details have been forthcoming from Royale.

There are multiple threads also CR related you will not see on the Main Board:D

That's where we discuss other stuff;)

Marci just book directly with CR to get best rate, then transfer the booking to your TA to get their perks....it's very doable! :D

Where did I say that YHO7 means I have money coming...

Read all the posts and you will see we established it is an identifier to let casino manager and casino host know they have members boarding.(Money coming aboard)

4 different members with same answer from CR today:)

Please check your facts before you jump to conclusions:eek:

One item YHO7-CASINO ROYALE $0.00 10 people also concur ZERO $$$

What am I missing that you are seeing.

Not once have I said I have money coming against the New Code.

Happy Days!

Yes we will miss the rebates, but I am loving all the discounts I have been getting on 2 Royal Suites and 3 Grand Suites..

Now that is MONEY OWED:D

ahhhhh I took it as you saying "letting the host know they have money coming" meaning that they had a rebate coming on the ship. Thats how I interpeted your comments. Sorry... as you and I both know this new program in flux is a bit crazy... Did not mean to offend anyone. Thanks for clearing that up.

Here are a couple things I have learned..

1. In the past I have always asked the Pit Boss during the course of my play what how long they had me in for and what my average was. ON the enchantment last week the pit boss ( who was very nice) said it was against company policy and I could only get that information from the host.

2. I always check with the host each day before I play to make sure everything was accurate. On the enchantment a couple weeks ago, they had my play at $120.00 per spin on roulette when in fact I play between $150 and $170 per spin... they went to the boss , who knew what my play was and they did correct it. Bu as you have stated, it's always worth checking as $55 the wrong direction at 4 hours per day could greatly change the comp value

1 more thing I learned. Because they no longer use player numbers ( everything is being lumped into your crown and anchor number) Club Royale no longer has access to your Play... they only have access to the offers that are sent to them from corporate. so as of right now.. There is no easy way ( like there was in the past) for them to even tell you what your play is..

I am hoping when they finally roll out the new stuff it will magically all make sense.

FYI as many of you know. All the comps you receive such as your free drinks, dinners at specialty restaurants, or spa stuff is actually subtracted out of your comp offers.

All that being said. I LOVE CLUB ROYALE, my last 8 cruises have been completely comped and they always take good care of me. I truly hope royal does not change the program too much.

Waiting patiently ( mostly) like the rest of us to see what happens

Thanks Mark - Can't do that as cruise is within final payment. I'll plan better for the future.

Something interesting today regarding Club Royale. We had booked a Sup Bal on Serenade through Club Royale. We were on a wait list for GS. Today, two GS, RS, and JS opened. I wonder if same people or group had the cabins and released them. That is for another topic.

We got our GS off the wait list. I asked Club Royale about my status and any code I might be entitled (just love using that word)? They informed me that play was no longer being tracked for status??? Not sure that was accurate. Club Royale told me since I was now in GS, I would be introduced to the Casino Mgr the first day of the cruise. First I had heard of this.

I got my new booking and reservation for GS and guess what showed up on my invoice???

YHO7 - CLUB ROYALE

On top of this, he said I would receive a gold sticker from the Casino Manager for my sea pass. I was told the perks were at the desecration of the Casino Mgr but likely included free drinks while playing and other bennies (I buy drink package so not sure how free drinks will help). Never heard of a Gold Sticker for sea pass.

Ok, just when I thought I had a handle on these codes or no codes, now I am confused again. I will take it regardless.

Welcome to the YH07 Club!!! :)

With free nightly drinks in concierge/suite lounge now coming with your GS, plus free drinks in Casino (allowed by virtue of that sticker they'll add to your seapass on first night from host) why buy drink package? :). I've found between these two it's cost prohibitive to buy drink packages....ill just buy a beer at pool now and then, but the rest of my drinks I get free between these two afforded options.

YMMV

I called CR about booking on Harmony, June 2017. We are going on a big family cruise, about 35 people (doesn't that sound like fun)! When asked about the multi bedroom suites, they were already sold out.

Rates for GS and OS were about 50% off.

Gold sticker is for all casino VIP guests. Essentially it permits you to take up to $5k a day from your SeaPass without a fee and comes with some other limited benefits. On Allure & Oasis, for example, it waives the reservation requirement for shows.

That's interesting about the shows - I had no idea. Perhaps they would have told me if I had not already been in a star class cabin (doubtful though!). Sadly, I found out about the $5k daily limit early on, the old fashioned way !
