On Equinox now... What do you want to know?

I'm a first-time Celebrity cruiser on the Equinox now. I'm planning a full review at the end with as many dailies, menus, etc. as I can get. In the meantime, can I help answer any questions with photos or information?

Thanks so much.

Can you please posts from the Celebrity Spotlight, the one sheet page that you would have received on embarkation that shows all the senior officers names and photos. I am looking for the names (photos not required)of the Captain, Staff Captain, Hotel Director, Guest Relations Manager, CD and Food & Beverage Manager, as well as Captain's Club Host.

If you can obtain this it would be truly appreciated.

Can't wait to hear how you enjoy your trip. Planning this ship on a 10 day next May.

Would love to see any bar menus you can can get pics of, anything I've been finding on here have been older and we all know how prices change. Going to upgrade to the Premium Beverage package and want to drool over the drinks I will be sampling :cocktail::tropical-drink::beer-toast::hot-beverage::whiskey-glass:

Happy sailing!

Hi - hope you are enjoying the beautiful Equinox.

We've heard rumors that the Hot Glass shows will be pulled from the Equinox, the Eclipse and the Solstice and the areas will be reconfigured to something that will generate revenue.

Is the Hot Glass show still being done?

Would be most interested in knowing about any Hot Glass related "gossip" that might be heard on board.

Thanks and have a wonderful cruise.

P. S. I was in Indianapolis last weekend - grew up near there. Can't believe how beautiful the airport is now compared to the one that was there 50+ years ago!!

I'll post the officer list soon. I'm trying to get the MDR menus but they didn't have one posted the first day (prime rib was what I remembered). We did watch the hot glass show during our very windy first day and they did each show in its entirety. I'm a beer lover but I'll try to take pics of all menus that I can.

It was onboard earlier this month.

I have not heard that the Corning Museum of Glass Hot Glass Show will be replaced. We asked when we were on Equinox for the 4th time last fall, and they said they were there for the foreseeable future. I love it, and would miss it if it was gone. I treasure the large bowl I won at one of the end-of-show raffles.

Of course anything could happen, but it'd need to be in a pretty big refit, and that just happened a couple years ago.

The Gastrobar has been open each sea day at 12, including debarkation day! This is my happy place. It's got sports on TVs and obviously a great beer selection. I haven't tried the food yet. Here is their current beer menu, most of which is available. A note: some of the bars and the specialty restaurants have even different beer selections than the Gastrobar. I have taken most beers to go, whether into the casino or the pool or the show.c6b703030ca0cc84f69ff132fde69ebc.jpg

Today (sea day 2) there are three special speakers. They are talking about the USVI becoming a territory, our cruise director's time as a stunt man in Hollywood, and recycling at sea.

We got off on the 23rd as you boarded. Had a great cruise, our 2nd on the Equinox and again we loved the ship. Did notice some rust around, particularly on the balconies. The sea can be cruel.

We had select dining and the assistant Maitre D, Giroca (I think) was excellent. On the nights we were in the MDR she got us the same table (553) with Ada as our waiter, he was great. It was a 6 top

Did I say I love that ship

Fellow Hoosiers here from Bloomington! We will be on Equinox in May--and looking forward to hearing about your experience. We're fans of Celebrity, having sailed on the Reflection a few times. GastroBar intrigues us because it's new (and has a terrific beer selection). On the 10-day cruise, are there two or three "chic" nights? Have fun!

There are two chic nights, one is the first full day at sea (tournedo steak night) and one is the second to last day of the cruise (lobster night).

Strangely enough we didn't get Lobster on the 2nd Chic night, we got it on the last night. By the way the Lobster dish in Murano is to die for, and don't have the Chicken Parmigiane in Tuscan or you will explode.
