  1. yes, though they won't be the most powerful models if that is important to you.
  2. Post-restart, I love the lounges having a permanent bar in Radiance class ships. Must faster bar service compared to ships where you have to wait for the server to go next door to get your drinks.
  3. If you are basing things just off ship, I'd pick Mariner since it has been amped. But if you don't care about restaurants or water slides, then I'd go for price/cruise length as the tiebreaker.
  4. No way that guy wasn't drunk. If he was in a car he would have been guilty of "failure to maintain lanes"
  5. Funny thing is, if the wind didn't blow some deck chairs around, this is probably a non-issue.
  6. Not as often as you'd think. In July, there are two ships there on only 14 of the 31 days. 16 of the 31 days in August.
  7. You don't have to book times anymore. It's back to the way it was before the restart.
  8. Or even better, Celebrity guests pay 2x as much as RC guests for various things. As always, anything you hear on a ship should be taken with a grain of salt, but on a recent cruise one of the officers told me RC wanted to build another pier to have more than 2 ships at a time.
  9. I put my electronics in drawers when I'm not in the room. But I don't attempt to lock it up.
  10. There are enough days where there's only one ship in port. But wouldn't that be a bit of a logistics nightmare, especially for the bars and drink packages?
  11. Every ship has a pizza place, whether it be Sorrento's, Cafe Promenade, Park Cafe, Solarium Cafe, etc, etc.
  12. You can get higher trip cancellation benefits, but just compare that price against the cost of individual trip plans. It might not be that economical.
  13. Unfortunately RC has been quite slow to remove some very outdated references to covid protocols from its app screens.
  14. Adventure definitely isn't run down. It just hasn't been amped yet. If you're beach people, I'd go to St Croix/Tortola.
  15. Though theoretically that's what they'd be creating these ships for.
  16. Thunderstorms in port aren't what RC would use an in house meteorologist for anyway.
  17. You just have to ask when you board. It all depends on numbers for that given cruise.
  18. There was a severe thunderstorm warning that covered Port Canaveral that expired at 4:15pm that day. I haven't found exact times Indy left (scheduled for 4pm), but here's a Carnival ship leaving a few minutes before the storm hit. Weather didn't look overly imposing.
  19. "Person doing stupid stuff ends up in the water" doesn't get clicks as much as "person fell overboard" does.
  20. 3 ways to fall overboard. 1) Homicide 2) Suicide 3) Being stupid (and yes, typically alcohol involved)
