  1. We had all that as suite guests recently. I will say that out Suite Concierge was like an offensive tackle going to the head of the tender lines and entertainment lines! Priority debarkation made leaving much more relaxed and less stressful than other cruises we have been on.
  2. Northbound Vancouver to Seward. Taking Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver prior to cruise.
  3. On a recent cruise in a suite, I tipped the cabin steward, the private butler and the Suite Concierge. in addition to the standard gratuity. I wrote thank you notes and presented them on the next to the last day.
  4. Just be prepared...once you have a suite and butler, you won't want to go back......
  5. For us on Spirit, it did seem a little low key....we were in a suite and our steward said we needed to be off the ship by 10:00 a.m.
  6. They will not entertain any discussion of deviations after 75 days. I did not use the return flight, but used the flights to get to port of embarkation, so I can't comment on that.
  7. For me, it was as good as a good Italian restaurant in my city. I've had much better in Boston and St. Louis. Nothing spectacular or exceptionally creative on the menu.
  8. I was going to say how good the pretzel buns were on Spirit.
  9. I had a similar experience on my last cruise. Then after the cruise, I figured out why. Of the 1500 or so passengers, 1250 were French Canadians whose preferred language was mostly French. The roll call had very little activity on it. The good news i is several of us got to know each other and met up onboard.
  10. Many states have labor laws that exceed federal standards.
  11. Typically, about 30 days out, now. There are no deviations allowed after 75 days out. You may need to call airlines about seat assignments as the NCL air department seems to be oblivious to the important things you need to know.
  12. All great information. I was not aware we could also eat in Blu. Thank you.
  13. We are in a suite on Millenium in August and will have Luminae privileges, but will also book specialty a couple of nights. We would also like to try the main dining room once or twice. Are suite guests expected to dine in Luminae and not eat in Main Dining room? Does main dining room use set dinner times or is it open dining?
  14. Werecently came of a 12-day on Spirit. We were VERY impressed with the quality of the shows. The performers, production, visuals and stagecraft were excellent. The magisians and aerialists were aslo very good.
  15. Is there a nespresso or keurig machine in the Celebrity Suites n Millenium?
  16. A tip left for a staffmember is kept by the staff member. We recently cruised on NCL after a hiatus of about six or seven years. I noticed that the guest checks now have a tip line added in all the venues. I don't remember that from before. These are "tips" or gratuities as they are optional to the customer and go to the staff member. A "Service Charge" is not optional. I would exepect that the distribution of the service charge is carefully covered in the staff contracts which probably also include an NDA clause. Who is included in the pool and how it is calculated.
  17. Our TA has put us in the PanPacific which is attached to Canada Center. We're tickled, couldn't be more convenient. The Hyatt Regency is three blocks away and very nice.
  18. We recently sailed on Spirit for 12 days. I was amazed. Taking the subjective part of entertainment out, the same performers and production crew did six fully choreographed productions in the theatre and a broadway showtune production in the main lounge. These were complete productions with songs, dances, routines, visuals and full sets. I was very impressed with the talent and the stagecraft. I was quite impressed and the shows were one of the highlights for us. There was also a magic show, and a mini-cirque du soleil style aerialist show which were quite good.
  19. I don't know. We embarked at 3 a.m.!
  20. We just used H2OBoraBora for a 6 1/2 hour tour with guide Rudolph. It was extremely well done, fully satisfied. Rudolph was an excellent guide who made sure we experienced and saw everything! Can't recommend them enough. Email Aimee. h20borabora@gmail.com
  21. You should have embark/debark escorts as well as priority tendering and reserved show seating. Both butler and concierge. Breakfast/Lunch in Cagneys.
