  1. Our last two cruises were in PG on QE. November last year and March this. The service we received was excellent, as always and we're looking forward to sailing in PG again in two weeks time on QE out of Barcelona. My blog --LINK-- covers them in detail.
  2. In March on QE Afternoon tea was in the Queens room. You've always been able to get scones and cream in the Buffet but no silver service with it.
  3. It was on our PG menu for the last two cruises in November and March https://blog.rakkor.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/AlaCarteMenu.pdf AlaCarteMenu.pdf
  4. You could have a look at my blog Link Here It covers all three Cunard ships in both Britannia and Princess Grill pre and post Covid. It give you an idea as to what we like about Cunard plus a few whinges as well. There are examples of the Daily Programmes there as well as Menus from our cruises
  5. I imagine the lack of a senior officers party is more to protect them than us. We'd be in a right pickle if they all had to isolate because of a superspreader event.
  6. I noticed in My Cunard you can book a 3 session pass for fitness classes for $39
  7. To be honest, I'd just book an observed test from Boots and do that, If you're in the UK - £14.99 Observed Test at Boots, I'd hate to offer advice which you act on and it turns out wrong and you either don't go or get charged £££ for it at the port
  8. In My Cunard, under Booking Summary - > Scroll down and at the bottom of the text is Bed Comfiguration and Your Dining Choice It's not to easy to find......... took me a while
  9. You remember it well, but that was strictly indoors, the transition from the Commodore Club back to the Garden Lounge was positively Baltic. I'd like to say in my defence - The shorts were the most comfortable option for my smashed pelvis, jeans were a little too much pressure on the scar tissue to wear all day.
  10. There are some examples of the Daily Programme on my blog (https://blog.rakkor.uk) under the Daily Programme section - They should give you some idea as to the daily itinerary. Pre-covid we always chose a table for ten, we always found this to be the best for us.
  11. What nonsense is this ????
  12. Yoga is available in the Spa as a cost option, no Idea how much though - It's advertised in the daily Programme (Example Link)
  13. Down at Jane's dad's for the weekend and the Covid fairy has struck. His partner wasn't feeling too good with a cold, so Jane persuaded them to do a test. He was negative, but she's positive with the strongest T-Line I've seen so far. So it looks like we'll be coming down with it, which may be a godsend for our upcoming September Cruise. I expect Jane's dad to test positive soon as he has all the symptoms, albeit just a light cold. Hopefully it stays that way.
  14. Nope sorry - these were screenshots taken from the my.cunard app onboard QE I must have missed page 20 when I compiled the PDF
  15. Grills Lounge Menu.pdf This is the Grills lounge bar menu, different bars will have different offerings, but it should be a good indicator
  16. We had a similar stateroom in 2016 and we loved it, helped in part by the bigger balcony that you get on deck 4 forward and aft.
  17. This was the same on our last two "Grills" cruises. It's more noticiable as a Grills customer since you're there so early,. The first cruise post covid was Britannia, so unaffected as we had a 15:00 check-in and no chance of disappointment in the fizz not being opened for us
  18. I had a 50 minute wait yesterday when I called to sort out my ex forces OBC and order a wine package for our upcoming cruise - once connected the operator was very helpful.
  19. I've finally got around to scanning the PG menus from our March Northern Lights cruise. I've uploaded them to my Blog at https://blog.rakkor.uk including a scan of the Room Service Menu. They are a bit mixed up because of getting moved into Covid quarantine, as we didn't get them from our waiters and had to rely on the daily menus posted in the stateroom Direct Link.................. Daily Programmes next .....
  20. I've just had the email and we are departing Barcelona on Aug 29th
  21. It depends on how you class value - the Cloudy Bay Sav Blanc is on the QE Commodore's collection. This is £26 in Majestic and if you drink it with a steak at Gaucho's it'll cost you £80 so the 49 quid for I paid per bottle isn't bad given the location it's being drunk. Brochure Wine Package Cunard.pdf Gaucho_Wines_LDN_T1_0522.pdf
  22. This - check your downloads folder, you may find, like I did several downloaded copies.
  23. There's a whole bunch of scanned menus on my blog - https://blog.rakkor.uk both PG and Britannia - I don't think they will have changed much in the last year
  24. This was the Room Service menu on our recent cruises on QE _ assume it's the same for all classes of cabin, we were in PG
