I would look and make sure they are still available first, cancel the current one and then book the one on sale. If you used a CC, then they will refund it back to your card, takes about 5-7 days. By the time you get on the ship, the excursion could be higher and sold out. So, don’t count on that.

The Star is not available because it is being built and they probably won’t open it for quite a while for MDR, like the Sun did. Didn’t the Sun dining open only about 3 months before sailing? We don’t even see a pic yet of the Star on the App! 🤪 BTW, IT does know that about it. I got a call from one of them and they are working on it. Just have to wait. I know IT is not responsive now for a while. All we can do is report it and seems to help if your TA or CVP can report it. At least mine helped me.

According to PCL rules, you should be able to book dining if you’ve paid in full or if you’re Elite/Platinum. However, they have been updating the dining on every ship in the fleet. They started July 1st and not all the ships and MDR’s are updated. So, recheck yours and see if one of the MDR’s is open to book. Some ships have 2 open for booking. Island and Coral shows 1 MDR to book. None yet for the Star princess. IF…you still cannot book the MDR and others can on your ship, you may have an error on the App. You would have to report it to PCL IT. You can check with others on your roll call.

Yes. Correct. I have a lot of b2b’s and they appear as 1 cruise for each ship. You CAN see all the dates on the App. You can book dining one day at a time or for the whole b2b cruise. Otherwise, there is an App error. Okay, that would not be unusual for this App. 🥴

Yes, I see that is the case on the Enchanted, Santorini TD. They only offer private tables for the 730pm seating. I would book whatever you can book now and change it, if it opens up. Very strange. It could be an error or a test for bookings in TD to see how it books up. IDK.

The rest of this week, we’ll see strange errors on the website and the downloaded App, because of all their updates, or attempted updates. 😳 No, 3 is not the max on the App. I have 6. 😮 How long ago did you book this 4th one? During one of these updates? Did you delete the App and reinstall? After this dining update, if you still don’t show your 4th booking, I’d have your TA/CVP to put in a ticket to the IT Dept to fix it.

lol 😝 It did double book TD Santorini MDR, Enchanted Feb. Now, today: Shows: Santorini TD 5 and 730p Amalfi DMW 5p and 20 min increments till 820p Capri Anytime/walkups

The only way I could tell was, select the MDR and it shows times available. TD was 5pm and 730pm. DMW was available times 5 pm and every 20 mins. So, that leaves the other MDR as Anytime MDR. That is, if your ship has been updated on the App. 😳

Your CVP should be able to do this for you. Let us know how it works out.

If it’s the Majestic, you can check the App and click on Book Dining. There should be one restaurant MDR that is TD which is supposed to be 5Pm and 730pm and one MDR which is DMW dine my way, which you book a reservation starting at 5 pm and every 20 mins. Third MDR will be Anytime dining, just walk up. May be a wait time. All these changes are effective July 1st, today. However, the App is very slow. You might try this tmrw or the next day. I have 6 cruises booked and only completed 1. I’ll give it a couple of days. Shows vary, destination and ships a little. 730pm and 9 pm on our last cruise.

You cannot work on the App for future cruises, only on the one you are currently sailing on. If you are OB, you can only work on them by using the website-cruise personalizer. That’s not new. IF….you see the dining options on the cruise personalizer, go ahead and book them. I don’t show any of the dining working yet on my cruises. Maybe later today? IDK.

Welcome back! And Elite, at that! Crew shortages seem to be on quite a few ships. We have been very lucky to not have noticed so much. Part of it, I believe, is all the extra crew running around doing deliveries from the OceanNow. Have a great time and hope you don’t have to work too much!

You will go on the App, click book dining, see which MDR you want and make reservations. When you click on the MDR, the times should come up for you that are available. However, they are completely changing the dining types in the MDR’s to be similar to the Sun. So, my bookings all say “There are no times available.” The reservations will be available to book July 1st, they say anyway. You can go on and try and see if it is available to book on the Sun. IDK.

The port authority shows is as Dock 30. https://www.portquebec.ca/en/cruises/vessel-schedules/cruise-ships-schedule/detail?id=9 I usually just check upon arrival, in case there is a change. You can’t miss the big ships in port, the cabs know where to go.

We love the Regal and Enchanted. Enchanted is more elegant, IMO and we love the lighter colored decor. JMO The cruise is outstanding also. There are a few threads on here about Enchanted. You may want to read those for more info. You can check your travel summary for the amount of formal nights, right above the itinerary. 2 formal nights on a 10 night.
