When I go to a local bar there is no drink package. What am I missing? Why doesn't my local bar offer the same drink package that Princess does? Princess doesn't offer it's loyalty members 4, 5 or 6 free drinks per day. What are Captain's Circle members missing? Are they crazy? Why don't they complain to Princess about their deficient loyalty program? Seriously though, the game of cruising is all about finding the cruise that best suits you. That includes diving into the details. Princess has faster internet even with Royal adopting Starlink. If fast internet is your most important item then don't book Royal. Find what works for you and go with it. If you choose to sail many different lines you need to learn to adapt to each lines pros and cons.

Or just buy a power cord for your unit that is 15' long. https://www.amazon.com/Compatible-Samsung-Toshiba-Insignia-Replacement/dp/B0919NKXN2/ref=sr_1_8?crid=3SSINSPHL3W9Q&keywords=long+power+cord&qid=1685828864&sprefix=long+power+cor%2Caps%2C115&sr=8-8 This one is 15' long and it's not an extension cord. It is a power cord.

New Suite Deposits Effective June 1, 2023
twangster replied to Ken at the beach's topic in Royal Caribbean International
My spreadsheet reports since becoming Pinnacle I'm 5% interior, 0% Oceanview, 70% Balcony and 25% suites. On the cruise to achieving Pinnacle I was 25% interior, 17% oceanview, 28% balcony and 30% suites. My suite booking trend has stayed nearly consistent before and after Pinnacle (25% - 30%). I might book some JS tonight to get in before the deposit change. That will bring my suite booking trend gap closer. I recently sailed on Radiance in an interior. My last interior was forty one cruises ago. There are folks at every level who only sail in __________ cabins. Why is it notable that this statement includes some Pinnacles? Their money, let them spend it as they see fit. After spending six figures to reach Pinnacle it's a wonder I have money to cruise. -

Next program and Solo Travellers
twangster replied to latebuyer's topic in Royal Caribbean International
NextCruise OBC will typically be reduced for a solo guest. It depends. As far as cruise fares, Nextcruise doesn't offer anything different from the website. Solo cruisers typically have to pay a 200% solo supplement. Some ships have studio cabins that offer a reduced fare for one guest. Cruisers with more than 340 points in the Crown and Anchor Society receive a reduced solo supplement on most sailings. No solo fare rules differences at NextCruise. -
Same with laundry but alas it is also per cruise over 5 nights.

Have you considered using a travel agent? Find one that can walk through all your preparation and who doesn't charge anything for their services. -

Using FCC on an existing booking
twangster replied to sean of the seas's topic in Royal Caribbean International
At this point it's best to apply FCC before final payment due date. Keep detailed records when you apply FCC. In some cases it's applied in a manner that can make tracking fares for price drops more challenging. In the event that something happens to the cruise that you applied the FCC towards you'll want to have detailed records of the FCC so you make sense of the numbers and their math in the future. Suggest you request a copy of the cruise invoice before applying the FCC and then request another invoice after the FCC has been applied. -

In most cases yes but you have to call or have your TA apply it.
