  1. Standard 3/4 Perfect Day and Nassau. Starting July 2024. If the previous information holds true the first sailing will be July 15.
  2. For the big announcement tomorrow they have balloons ready on Navigator
  3. After my excursion Mazatlan was getting ready to give Navigator her trash back. Inspection for drugs I presume. Up, up and away. "Maintenance". Maybe they could make some unique Keychain from the lifeboat and sell them in the Royal shops.
  4. Boarding in San Pedro a couple of days ago I saw this at the pier.
  5. Doesn't appear so. She is very much Wonder-like with a few changes like the new SO Star Class Suites on the bridge wings like the Oasis UP.
  6. Before it was built how would they see it from any way other than renderings?
  7. I understand the issue with rising costs for specialty and beverage packages, just as they are for CocoCay purchases. Disliking the price of items doesn't make the cruise terrible. The problem here is that other people are willing to pay the price. These prices are what the market will bear. Specialy dining stopped being a value for me when Chops went above $29.95 USD back in 2018. So I stopped buying it every cruise. Once I reached D+ the BOGO brought it within reach again. Then as prices went up over time Chops once again left my value zone. Despite that I still have great cruises. CocoCay has what I consider outrageous prices, but a lot of people are willing to pay those prices. I still love CocoCay.
  8. That statement was made in Aug. 2022 addressing the restart of cruising and those numbers, the 75% figure in Europe was a restart number. It was also attributed to lower demand during the restart especially since the US was requiring everyone coming back to the US to test for COVID. In Nov. 2022 they updated the load factors and they noted that the stronger than expected Europe results were because of the end of US requiring tests to come home. https://www.fool.com/earnings/call-transcripts/2022/11/03/royal-caribbean-rcl-q3-2022-earnings-call-transcri/ Both factors varied by itinerary with Caribbean averaging close to 105%, Alaska at about 96%, and Europe as expected at just under 90%. Fast forward to 2023 earnings calls: Bookings for our European sailings have been nicely outpacing 2019 levels, with peak summer trending particularly well in recent weeks.
  9. Got two drops on April 2025 cruises two weeks ago. Couple hundred saved.
  10. No issues roaming on Navigator. Thete may be 5,000 on board but that doesn't mean 5,000 are all on Voom in the same area of the ship. Navigator has 10 Starlink systems aggregated to around 3.5Gb. For the 4,000 guests on here that's ample.
  11. Boarding day Navigator this past Friday Day 3, about 3 hours away from Cabo
  12. There will be quiet places at times but they won't be the prime areas or venues. For example the Centrum has many things going on with small breaks in between. Sometimes the Some Enchanted Evening Lounge will have nothing going on and sometimes there will be events. The solarium can be quiet unless some people next to you are having a good time. If you are looking for one spot that is always guaranteed to be quiet that will be hard to find. If you are willing to move around you can usually find somewhere quiet for that moment in time.
  13. We are all waiting to see where Quantum heads after the Australia season. With Anthem in the Pacific it changes the picture.
  14. I don't think they photograph well, much like me, l but I like the new style.
  15. Boarded Navigator and dropped by the SL to say hello to the conceirge. A maintenance person was there working on the coffee machine. This morning it worked fine. Not sure what he did, but the SL and the DL machine are working fine. In the DL now as it serves other DL guests as I am typing this.
  16. In my case A2S offered an alternative flight the night before the cruise once Delta delayed. Delta didn't outright cancel my direct flight. They returned to the gate but kept the flight in a "boarding" status. That hindered A2S because my flight was not canceled but despite that they offered a connecting flight in Southwest through Chicago, changing planes, in what would be two red eye flights getting into LAX at 7:30am. First class on Delta vs. a double red eye in middle seats on Southwest. Clearly not equivalent but that is all that was available. A2S cannot create a flight or force an airline to bump a confirmed passenger to create a seat for me. Everything on the morning of the cruise was full. The problem with the Southwest alternative was that Delta still had my luggage in the belly of their plane. Flying Southwest would get me there but not my bag. There is nothing A2S could do about that. That's the reality of what my choices were. Delta was tight lipped. The gate agents knew nothing and could announce nothing. That's not on them, they didn't know what Delta dispatch was trying to do, or thinking about. Eventually the Delta app updated with a 9am departure the next morning. They froze the plane, keeping it in a boarding state all night long. They eventually announced I could retrieve my checked bag or leave it with them. I found an airport hotel and booked it. I grabbed my bag and made my way to the nearby hotel. The next morning I returned to the airport and repeated my check in and bag drop. TSA was aware my boarding pass from the day before was valid and after a few extra steps I was through security. By keeping the original flight number and the plane in a boarding state I had a 17 hour flight from Orlando to Los Angeles, at least in appearance. The next morning it was the same plane and my seat display still remembered my Bluetooth headset pairing and the exact place in the movie I was watching when they returned to the gate. My resolution came from Delta. A2S didn't participate in the solution but they did do their best to assist with the only alternative that anyone could have come up with. In the end I didn't take them up on their offer but they fulfilled their duties as expected. A2S will try to find solutions but there limits. They won't spend infinite money to offer what someone might consider to be the best alternative. They will find an alternative if they can, that minimizes their cost. I can't fault them for that.
  17. The Orlando airport experience leaves a lot to be desired and parking isn't cheap.
