  1. um not quite appropriate for a ship that caters to kids. I am sure you were joking tho
  2. yup I had a JS suite on two different Oasis class ships and on one they were a bit snippy, and on the other after having eaten in one night, when I went back check menu and cancel. Well they seemed a little hurt and begged me to let them get anything I want from any restaurant. I just told them I wanted a nice salad from the buffet and they sighed and let me go. I felt bad just a bit. CK is IMHO not meant for every night since there are so many other places to eat on the Big ships.
  3. If you have never seen cats, do go for a while to at least see some of the costumes and hear some of the music. Sit in back or balcony for a quick exit.
  4. and this is why I booked the Oasis for a second time. I did not go to this place last October, but I will do so this October. I would say whenever I walked past, it seemed empty. does remind me a bit of Guy Fieri's place on new Carnival ships with pork and macaroni.
  5. hey it sometimes takes the wait staff 5 minutes to walk over anyways. They tell you in MDR anyone has a full 15 minutes to be seated.
  6. sorry most cruises I am gone one folks arrive 5 mins after doors open. If you are in hurry to stuff your face, then you go to the WJ.
  7. Everyone deserves a 5-7 minute window. if you are so hungry then ask for some bread and wait a few minutes. After all elevators can be busy or perhaps some other delay.
  8. Yes this is appreciated by the waiters too. A lot of folks miss at least one night due to special dining or quick buffet on port days when tours end
  9. They are all good so it depends on your wish list. Do you want to sample as many countries or do you want to see a lot of one country. If Iceland is on bucket list, don’t waste sea time. NCL does sailings out of Iceland that goes also to Greenland. Also when flying to Europe, try to take the longest cruise possible since airfares are high. In the end I vote for the 8 night Norway cruise and then any 12 nighter
  10. No I said I will wait for the rush to end as I want to cancel. I don’t want you to hold on phone long time. missing the coast is break point for me and quite rude for NCL to do this IMHO.
  11. aw gee this was my third try as well to go on POA. I will wait a couple of weeks before I call as I think a lot of folks will cancel and phone will be busy. NCL just keep getting more and more negative IMHO. I will really be pissed if the make change to my NCL Star r/t out of Iceland doing Greenland next year.
  12. anyway you can bring Bella as your support animal? If not I hope a shirt or hat with photo on it. enjoy
  13. it would be nice if tghey would use a different word than unavailable or explain better.
  14. thanks for the photos. I would love to visit a shipyard but I know they are for officials only. Love the name Sun Princess. I am looking forward to going on the older Grand Princess for my Alaska 14 day coastal cruise.
  15. there is always the buffet which is still IMHO nice. Heck the officers eat there. You can make a nice salad and go to the grill and have something made. The buffet gets a bad rap, but EVERY RCI ship I have done over the last 7 years, as each day goes by the buffet fills up more and more. It is quicker, quieter, and view of the ocean and nice variety IMHO. So on a given night for a given show, just do the buffet.
  16. and I saw the original on Broadway with Betty Buckley I did like the costumes but really RCI, move the show and get something else.
  17. Great just great ......................... Children are supposed to follow rules not adults I guess.
  18. aw you just sold me on Princess based on music. I get tired of the Latin, Rock and Beatles. I like tasteful calm music so that people can read or yes even talk without having to be loud.
  19. hmm that is an interesting thought, but I think getting people off their phones would take more than paper of fun times. then again, wondering if they want the WIFI and internet to be faster and have less folks on.
  20. I do not mind because the crew is still working a long day and if doing 1 service a day, they might do extra good at that time. Besides if you see them in the hall and really need something, I am sure they would get if for you. If one has 2-3k to take a trip, then not nice to split hairs on the tips the crew gets.
  21. your answer does not really tell the OP anything.
  22. I guess snow does not occur that often in your area. I live in PA and we have had 1 inch so far this winter. toodles. PS put some mozz cheese on that pizza.
  23. I prefer how Celebrity treats their guests while on board. the buffets were good too. Also, HAL has several sneaky promos that are tied into the vacation protection plan and must be purchase up front otherwise one can't add at final payment. They trip you up with the promo rules and will let you walk away before trying to fix a problem. I go tired of hearing the words Sorry you can't. HAL likes to give new reservation numbers when making changes so that any new rules kick in and override whatever you had with the reservation you are trying to change. I had to loose $300 recently and I do no like HAL promos which no other cruise line does. Looking forward to the Edge in Europe this summer before she moves to the Pacific and Alaska market.
