  1. For some details you might look at this PDF https://www.celebritycruisetours.com/content/uploads/2016/06/Celebrity-Alaska_Cruisetour_Brochure.pdf It is about the most detailed view pre-cruise that I found. Pages 17 shows some of the properties and pictures. They do show some times but you can count on Early Mornings - starting on page 20 If I recall we had to be up around 5:30 - 6:00 on first morning to get to the Trains. When you first arrive at the hotel they will have a team and do small group meetings. At that meeting they will give you the actual times of departue and hand out luggage tags. You get 2 colors - one for items to stay on the bus and one that will be delivered to your room at each stop.
  2. George - you can find it here https://www.celebritycruises.com/gb/faqs/before-you-board under What is Celebrity Cruises’ Alcohol Policy? The reason you had no problem with 4 bottles is that EACH GUEST is permitted 2 bottles
  3. You can spend it on anything on the ship. Duty Free Shop, Jewelry, Casino, Spa, Specialty Dining and some have recently reported you can use it for a deposit on a future cruise. You can not use the chips on the slots but can on the ship charge Slot to the OBC. The Casino Chips are promotional chips and you can only cash in the winning. Any promotional chips cashed in will go back to your OBC. So basically you play a $25 Promotional chip if you win you get your winning back in non-promotional chips that can be cashed in.
  4. They don't usually offer it as an activity by the ship's staff It is usually done by guests and if their are people waiting they usually start playing pickup matches.
  5. On your Celebrity App - Click the icon of a Head (top right) Select your sailing if not already selected (or if incorrect choose in TEAL Select a Different Cruise In the Middle of the Screen you will see Check IN - If too early it will tell you the date when CheckIn Opens (45 days prior to Sailing) If Open for CheckIn Click CheckIn and start by Scanning the bottom line of you passport. You can also immediately select boarding time and then come back later and complete.
  6. I've posted this before. To check prices I do a search for the cruise or cruises and create a shortcut link to the page where you select cabin type. That way I can check it daily quickly with a couple clicks. Example: https://www.celebritycruises.com/booking-cruise/selectRoom/stateroomCategory?pID=AX07W462&sDT=2023-04-15&sCD=AX&sCT=CO&roomQuantity=1
  7. That is correct - There is no charge fee by the Airline but the Choice Air fee of $100 pp to change a flight after final payment still applies. I believe if the flight is change by more than 2 hours the FBC fee may be waived, but unsure of this.
  8. I would have to agree with some of the assessments of "Sommeliers" in Luminae. Maybe being Californian Iain knows his wines. Due to staffing some of the "Sommeliers" had little to no knowledge of wines. One evening a very sweet (personality) sommelier recommended a California wine that would be considered a "Jug" wine. When we both chuckled she looked at us strange. I do have to say the Sommelier on Solstice last last month was very knowledgeable but would still question whether she was certified.
  9. Download the Celebrity app and choose a current sailing you will be able to see all the Menus by day.
  10. On Solstice and Summit they did away with it. When on Silhouette - being based in UK they did have.
  11. My experience in Muster 2.0 at the muster station the agent gives you a quick individual 30 second review and shows how to put on life jacket. While I don't know for sure but I think what may have induced lines to bring back traditional drill is customers not following instructions. Usually starting 2 hours plus you keep hearing announcements for passengers to complete the simple drill. We have even been delayed due to non-compliance of some irresponsible passengers while they trace them down.
  12. I'm just showing my age. The desert trays were long before Luminae and Blu and in the MDR. Each night the Waiter would bring a Large Silver Tray to the table with a Sample of each Desert on the menu so guests could see what was on offer before ordering their deserts.
  13. I think it will depend on itinerary. On our cruise a couple years ago Singapore to Abu Dhabi Customs came aboard at Sri Lanka and Face Face processing was done aboard in one of the lounges. Was time consuming as instead of automation they entered evrery details manually in log books. Once we cleared prior to our first port of call we did not have to clear again for the other ports in India. Not sure of your itinerary.
  14. Eden Cafe is kinda like a Cafe where you order at a counter - They also have some items like pastries self serve. There is limited seating - High Tops inside and some outside on the deck. They do also have self service Coffee and Drinks - I don't recall but think you may also be able to get Cappuccino basic drinks Outside Eden Cafe
  15. Count Countess - I LOVE retirement. I thought I would be bored but now wonder how we ever got everything done while working.
  16. I guess because the solution is here and instead of calling in and waiting a long time only to be told as some have reported they will issue an IT Trouble ticket for it. Celebrity has always been rather lack luster. Personally I waited a week to see if it would fix itself and finally went looking here for a solution.
  17. Thanks... wasn't sure about Edge.
  18. M-Class Aft Rooftop Terrce Deck 12 S-Class Lawn Club Deck 15
  19. All ships we have been on offer a B2B lunch along with Zenith's and Concierge Class passengers. It is in OVC but a limited menu.
  20. Good to hear. I also use an iPhone and love the results. Hope to meet you sometime on a future cruise.
  21. The Captains Dimitrios brothers will be a great pair. Really a fun move by Celebrity. I've sailed with both and would enjoy sailing with them again.
  22. The whale watching in Cabo is really different than Alaska. They are usually really close to the shore and when they find some they just drift along at the same speed and you see the same whale or whales surface about every 3-5 minutes. For Cabo Trek - Per Google Maps looks like a 4 minute walk about 1,000 feet. Hope you will post some to let us know the fun you are having.
  23. Brendan really enjoyed your food posts. Great photos and even better commentary. Curious what type of camera you were using?
  24. I'm laughing along with you about the orange gianduja. When I think of the menu description that's never what comes to mind even though I've had it before.
  25. I usually take a screen shot, put the room on hold and submit using the form and e-mail. If prior to final payment they will reduce the price, if booked with an agent they will tell you to contact your agent.
