Well how long does it take to get a air plane from noumea to Vila. If we left Vila yesterday when we where supposed to , I’m sure we could be in Noumea by now. And why won’t they let us off?

So if anyone is wondering how the tendering will work in Vila this is what we have. Ovation is anchored out in the bay and the tenders go to the usual wharf. I was hoping the tenders would go to the ferry wharf near the casino,which would be closer . But apparently they have to have a security area for customs and quarantine and it can’t be done in town.

They better sort out another cruise terminal in Sydney. MSC ,Disney,Oasis class and talk of Mien schiff (TUI) looking for somewhere to put a ship.

It is a bit vague,I just thought it would start a good rumour.

Don’t go taking that medallion with uncle Les, you can’t trust that technology. I had a run in with a 2 sisters from Shanghai the other night. The only thing that saved me was thinking ,what uncle Les would do in a situation like this and having clean and pure thoughts.

I think it’s a possibility. Royal seems to be consolidating itself in its bread and butter market,the U.S. They could pull a Radiance class out of Alaska and deploy Anthem there for the season. Then do a switch with Navigator in LA over Christmas. Ovation and Navigator in Sydney, Quantum in Brisbane .

I would like to do Navigator. I like to spend a few days somewhere to get over the long haul flight and I think a B2B would be a good way to do it.

Just got this about tendering in Vila. I remember the last time I was on a tender with Ovation in the bay of islands. There was a line from 270 to the theatre down the stairs then halfway back along the ship. That’s about 400 meters. There was a couple of punch ups if I remember rightly.

They need something about 300 meters,the big ships are good but the are limited where they can go.

Try the great southern. I haven’t stayed there for many years but people swear by it. Its just near central station and there’s a light rail station just out the front which will take you straight to circular quay. Not at check in uncle Les. There used to be a priority lane but no more. But as Graham said it’s not really that bad . The old days of a 11:00 start where good but like everything we are living in a different world.
