  1. Yes. FYI, you can view current deck plans of any ship on many sites including Royal’s.
  2. Assuming it’s nearly identical to the one on Wonder, it’s very small.
  3. I don’t see prices dropping anytime soon, especially Wonder out of PC. No, schools are not closed for 2 weeks here for Easter. That said, Wonder seems to be full or close to it regardless of season.
  4. Kenny was great earlier this month. Very organized (got our welcome e-mail 8 days out), took care of all requests, nice guy, and even invited our family of 8 on a bridge tour. We had a different 2nd concierge though named Noorina.
  5. I'm not a show guy (have yet to see a single Broadway show at sea) and didn't care for Voices or Tap Factory at all but I didn't mind Effectors II. That said, I wouldn't ever see it again. We saw every show on Wonder a couple weeks ago and on future Wonder cruises will only bother with adult comedy (which is fine with us).
  6. The entertainment is a valid point unless they were able to insert in-house shows with entertainers trained in Miami or went with guest headliners like non-Wonder Oasis class ships. The royal theater is there, it would just be a matter of how much they can or would want to bring in to facilitate a show or two. As someone who largely sails for the ship and loves CocoCay, if the price of a Utopia 3/4 B2B was roughly similar to a 7-night cruise out of PC on XYZ in the future, I could see myself doing more of them.
  7. As someone not excited by Icon, I'd welcome this with open arms!
  8. Also possible Utopia swaps with Wonder to do the 7-nighters from PC and Wonder goes... to China which is where she was built for?
  9. Not sure about this. Older ships are sailing at 100%. So will Utopia. Don't really think it needs any hype to succeed.
  10. My 1st was on Voyager when she was new-ish in 2002, never sailed anything smaller for a while. Then we went on a cheap Enchantment 4-nighter just to get the 4 pts we needed for Diamond. Couldn't believe there was no promenade. 🤣
  11. Allure is doing them from PC before Utopia takes its place.
  12. PC is an hour drive for us and I still prefer a minimum of 7. If you like CocoCay and the ship (hard not to) it's a very enjoyable, relaxing cruise.
  13. I'm expecting the worst and hoping for the best. Our TA is reserving a cabin for us. We'll decide yay or nay when we see the price. It is what it is.
  14. Staying up late causes me to miss my early trip to the DL coffee machine and my 1st of 2 breakfasts. Everyone has their priorities. 😁
  15. Lots of people describe them as party cruises. I have rarely done them but I did a 3/4 B2B on Indy out of PC last July and another 4-nighter in October (just b/c of the price) and didn't find much of a difference from the 7-night cruises I normally take in the summer. Maybe it's because in the summer there are lots of kids on any length cruise, maybe it's b/c I don't party or stay up super late, maybe just a difference in perception. Regardless, I'd have no problem doing a 3/4 B2B again (I plan to for the 1st two Utopia sailings unless the price is insane). It's the short length that I find unappealing, not the experience, hence the B2B's.

  17. As someone who always booked myself and recently switched to a TA... absolutely (although the perks will vary by TA, of course).
  18. Scroll up. Goes on sale Thursday for C&A members. It was always known it would look just like Wonder. It's Oasis class, not Icon class.
  19. It varies a lot more than that. 30 days out not on the 1st for my recent Wonder cruise. Others sailing on Wonder in June had theirs open farther out not on May 1st either. 30-60 days is the estimate I go with.
  20. October last year… the days of the $129 GGG sale price for Indy 4-nighters. 🤣
  21. One per family (i.e. my wife and I received ONE block at 140).
