HAL needs to contact their tour providers, verify they are available on the new dates and make the arrangements official. It make take a bit to work it out but they will change you over to the new tours when the arrangements are in place.
What port was dropped? Did they put in a new port or a sea day?
@CruisingAndDiving is correct. What we do is have the steward empty it and we go to the bar and pick up a few sodas and or beers that we would like in our cabin.
Generally, anything provided by HAL is non-refundable.OBC from a travel agent or that you purchase is refundable. So shareholder, military etc are non refundable.
There will be a bag in the closet of your cabin with an order sheet that you send in with your first batch of laundry. It can go out the first evening and will probably be returned the next afternoon or evening.
That would tell me something right there if they can't or won't share where on the wait list I would be. This isn't something I would consider doing but I would want that information if I were considering it.
If you call about the upsell, they will tell you which cabins are available and you pick which one you want. If none appeal you just turn down the offer.
Which ship, how long is the cruise and what are the vista suites selling for right now on the website versus what you paid for your veranda cabin? All things to consider when trying to decide if it's worth it.
I disagree with this. The ability to upgrade your cabin is really the big draw for us with CO. Yes, the separate dinning room was nice but not the most important feature of CO. The expand room service menu and tender priority also are a plus.
I've used our TA for booking the 3 cruises where I booked CO. I just send her an email with a screen shot of what I want to book and which cabin I want to upgrade to (along with a second choice) and she handles it.
A wait list to me implies first come first served but time will tell. Someone should ask when booking what number they are on the list and see what they are told.
I have been disappointed many times by beautiful yet tasteless desserts. But I do soldier on in my quest and am eventually rewarded.
But the worst for me is having a perfectly wonderful chocolate dessert completely ruined by someone sneaking coffee into it! That is just evil and should not be allowed!
I suggest getting the Rick Steves port guides thru your library. The one for Scandinavia was just about useless for our Norway cruise. Better to look for free and decide if it will be any benefit before you purchase any of his port guides.
It could be that you are too close to your sailing to book online or thru the app. I'm not sure of when but they do close bookings a few days before the cruise.
Anything that can be booked on the cruiseline's website, drinks, shore excursions etc, you can book on the website even if you used a TA to book the cruise. You do need to go through the TA for payments, cabin changes and price changes.
