  1. In this case, just purchase HIA separately and you would come out ahead
  2. It is my go to option for spending most of my non-refundable OBC.
  3. I did notice in the daily planner it was listed as being live streamed in another lounge. It's a nice alternative if people find themselves arriving late. Very nice to know that HAL is offering quality speakers.
  4. You do receive double mariner point in the Signature and Vista Suites but that's the only "perk". For us the Signature Suites are the perfect cabin when looking at size and price. The benefits for the Neptune suite just didn't justify the price. I was glad we were able to try one for a great price on an upsell but we wouldn't pay the normal fare for a Neptune.
  5. Cruise lines were in very different financial situations at the start of the pandemic. I don't think they will offer that same level of compensation now.
  6. On your upcoming cruise,I suggest asking others you talk with for suggestions. It can be a great way to find a TA or PCC that would work best for you.
  7. Thanks for sharing! I like the bright, modern feel of it. I much prefer it to the faux, old English library design.
  8. It's disappointing that they list the spa sales pitches on the fitness schedule
  9. Thanks for doing this. Our cruise is still a year away but I love reading about other people's experiences. Have a wonderful cruise!
  10. Has anyone ever used one? Every time I've read a mention of them, it was that it was out of order.
  11. Just my own little contribution, whenever I saw it I remembered to "Turn left at the shoe" to get to our cabin Aft elevator area, deck 4
  12. Yes, there is a $10 supplement. for the Lobster Mac & Cheese on the PG menu. That is the only side with a surcharge. As @Mary229 noted there is also a $10 charge to add a lobster tail to a steak.
  13. If you asked, did they tell you how many people were on the list ahead of you?
  14. You have to be very careful with those! I remember, years ago, a passenger was charged for the damage to the walls and maybe the doors from cling on decals. The coloring bled thru. It was not noticed until they were removed.
  15. Thank you! We have to wait until January of 2025 for our turn so I will certainly enjoy reading about your experiences. Safe Travels!
  16. The signature suite would work much better for 3 adults! Here is a photo of one with the bed made up for the 3rd person.
  17. I don't think that's true. I believe this closed loop cruise can be done with just a birth certificate and a driver's license. Not something that is generally recommended but doable. Coming from Alaska ,going to Fort Lauderdale, a passport is not required unless you stop in Canada.
  18. HAL needs to contact their tour providers, verify they are available on the new dates and make the arrangements official. It make take a bit to work it out but they will change you over to the new tours when the arrangements are in place. What port was dropped? Did they put in a new port or a sea day?
  19. @CruisingAndDiving is correct. What we do is have the steward empty it and we go to the bar and pick up a few sodas and or beers that we would like in our cabin.
