Really? I have rarely seen them taking pics...and the viewing area for pics has never been packed...at least not since the restart. I think, if they keep these high prices, photography is one of the first items pax will cut back on... But lordy knows the photogs were all over people leaving and entering the ship during excursions...I saw a few bump into each other vying to get to a pax first...lol...

Completely agree. And am hopeful of the photography one you mention...

Well, as usual, there is no consistency...lol...here is the same from my upcoming January Equinox cruise...note both have the 4.95 late night charge...(but no 9.95 delivery charge as yet...)

I checked on my 1/12 Equinox cruise and the charge doesn't show up for non-suite, Aqua, or suite. (The late night charge of 4.95 is there for all three...) But another weirdness is on the non-suite RS it has "A 20% gratuity will be added to beverages." That line item does not appear for Aqua or suite RS. Is this because of the included drinks package? And/or the included grats?? Would pax who prepay grats or have a drinks package not be charged the %20? Perhaps I partied too hardy last night 🤔 and am missing the reasoning on this...

OT: Your post reminded me of something I was wondering about. I've seen 18% and 20% tossed around on various places on the Celebrity app/website. And now I see what you mentioned...18% on food and 20% on drink...why is that? Shouldn't it be the same?? I am sure I'm missing something. Please be kind to me in any responses...lol...

21 days in the Mediterranean. Roundtrip from Barcelona. It was magical. No repeat ports...Turkey, Montenegro, Greece/Greek Isles, Italy, France, Gibraltar...never, ever bored. Hated for it to end. Spent xtra days in Barcelona. Never tired of the vast choices for food...barely spent any time in the theatre. Did some reading, watched some movies, got a little tipsy on our balcony, yakked it up with some folks and crew. Like cruisestich, just lived on the ship when we weren't enjoying the ports. DW felt the same way.

This level of angst is pretty new IMO...over the past 6 months or so most everything about the ship has had a steep increase in price. Staterooms, excursions, packages of all kinds, etc, etc. However, suites seem to sell out despite the heavy sticker price...

Maybe because I like things neat and orderly with no loose ends. I'd rather get it straightened out now rather than wait until I'm preparing to go on the cruise. Don't need the stress as we get closer to embarkation. And I will be cancelling one of the reservations...I have two of them on that cruise.

Wow! That's a hefty increase...but it doesn't really surprise me since they appear to be getting whatever price they ask for. As @jelayne says, supply and demand...and demand is good apparently...but I can say they will never get that money from me...
