  1. I'll bet that she hasn't been within a thousand miles of the Marshall Islands. She's just flying a flag of convenience.
  2. I sailed on Beyond in January 2022 in an interior cabin and loved it. I travel solo so cabin size wasn't an issue. Sailing in an interior cabin amidship also avoided all the controversy of Infinite Veranda staterooms and there was no noise or popping sound in the cabin not to mention no motion since I was midship. With the money I saved booking a cheaper cabin I ate in Eden Restaurant three times and Le Voyage once while aboard. I enjoyed Anytime Dining in the four Main Dining Rooms. Don't forget to take advantage of Eden Café for the complimentary breakfast and lunch when it's open. I also bought the Premium Beverage Package and Premium WiFi packages when they were on sale pre-cruise. You only miss out on the Suite specific venues (Luminae, Retreat Lounge and Retreat sundeck) but there are plenty of alternative locations to enjoy. The most common criticism of Beyond for non-suite passengers is that most verandas are the Infinite Veranda type rather than the tradition veranda. If a traditional veranda is important to you then book a sunset veranda or a deluxe porthole veranda.
  3. In the points history for you completed cruise it should also say "Bonus Points"
  4. Beyond is schedule to sail from Miami in early 2026 so this may be the last for this season but not forever.
  5. No, the new locks partially recycles the water in the locks. If you're really curious here is an explanation of the canal expansion.
  6. I've only seen it at $26.99 per day pre-cruise, i.e. $30 - 10% (excluding UK, Australia and counties that require price to include mandatory 20% gratuity, in the rest of world 20% gratuity is added at check out.)
  7. I've seen where the show were at 7:00 pm & 9:00 pm on some days and 7:30 pm & 9:30 pm on different days of the same cruise. Depends on port calls and ship's schedule. You won't know until just before you board.
  8. I stayed in Deluxe Inside Cabin 11177 on Beyond and didn't notice any unusual or excessive clicking or popping, just occasional noise from other guests as they walked down the hall talking loudly. Inside cabins also avoid the Infinite Veranda: is it a balcony or just a window controversy.
  9. I can't log in to the App. I thought it might be me so I closed X App the reopened it and still couldn't sign in. Then I completely deleted the App from my phone and downloaded the latest version from the App Store. Still no luck signing in. Fortunately, I don't need it for another 4 weeks so there's time to fix it.
  10. No, I've attached the page listing venue hours from Day 1.
  11. If it's not too much trouble could you post the Daily Planners either during or after the cruise. Thanks in advance
  12. No, it will be extended or a similar promo will replace this sale.
  13. I sailed on Reflection in December and ate in all the specialty restaurants. I really enjoyed Tuscan Grille the best. I went late and had a window table overlooking the wake. It was dark out but it was still relaxing and enjoyable. I started with the crab cakes which I really enjoyed. The timing of the service was very good, no excessive waits but not rushed either. I ate at Murano the first night but was so exhausted from the excitement (and drinking) of the first day that I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I normally would have. I got the venison and it was just ok. The appetizers were good and the Grand Marnier soufflé was very good. I ate at the Porch for lunch on a sea day. It was very relaxing and the food was good but not amazing. I ate at Lawn Club Grille for a sunset dinner as we were sailing away from Cancun. The food was okay, nothing memorable but no complaints. The atmosphere was really nice. I also ate embarkation lunch at Sushi on Five. Much more relaxing than fighting the crowds in the buffet. I ate at Le Petit Chef the last night of the cruise. I enjoyed the animations more than I thought I would but I'm not in a hurry to go back anytime soon. Check the menus before reserving as they vary from day to day.
  14. I booked Unlimited Specialty Dining for my upcoming transatlantic. I was worried about the popular restaurants being sold out but I'm hoping that Eden's ridiculous $85 per person cover charge lessens the demand for it. I'm also planning on being flexible with timing and willing to eat late or early if necessary.
  15. This video by Captain Kate might interest you.Captain Kate -Panama Canal
  16. I've done the math and have chosen not to buy a package for my upcoming cruise which I booked cruise-only. I travel solo and the All Included price for solo passengers is just ridiculous. By charging my drinks I also keep better track of what I'm drinking. In the past when I buy a package I feel I have to maximize the value of the package and that's not good for me. I'll drink heavily for a day or two then stop drinking for a couple days so I'm not getting value from it.
  17. I booked (deposit posted to my credit card and the cruise showing confirmed on Celebrity's website) this but normally I travel solo. In order to get the price you had to book as two people so my confirmation lists my name and TBD for the second person. I'm curious what happens if I never name a second person, will I then get double the Captain's Club points, I assume they'll refund the second port fees and taxes. Who knows, I have almost twenty months until the cruise, maybe I'll find someone I want to take on the cruise with me.
  18. Looks like they updated the prices to what would normally be charged. Fingers crossed they honor my booked price.
  19. I think I just booked this. I received a Booking Confirmation and my credit card is showing my deposit payment as pending. If this was a mistake fare then they better offer me some FCC if they cancel me.
  20. The App is still showing a charge for room service for my upcoming Summit cruise in one month. Has there been any official announcement they are eliminating the charge?
  21. On my 6 night West Coast cruise they only offer 3 Nights or Unlimited Nights Packages. On my 12 night transatlantic they only offer 5 nights or Unlimited nights Packages. You can also book Specialty Dining reservation one at a time.
  22. They have one bogus sale after another. If you see a cruise you like, book it now.
  23. Le Petit Chef and Le Grand Bistro are the same venues with different names depending on if it’s lunch or dinner.
