  1. The sample menus on the website are the day 1 menus updated 9/12/23 and are the same for all Edge class ships. If you want to see what the other days look like check out the current sailing for Beyond.
  2. I wouldn't expect to see them until a week or two before the sailing. Your best bet is to look at Beyond's current menus. It will probably be similar with a few tweaks here and there but until the actual menus are released it's the best info there is.
  3. If you are getting marketing emails from X they will also send you an email when there is a flash sale for your cruise.
  4. I'm considering switching my spring 2024 transatlatic cruise from Ascent to Virgin Voyages. When you factor in included tips and WiFi as well a a complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, I would come out ahead. I've heard lots of good thing about the food on VV.
  5. I sailed Holland America to Alaska in May of this year and thought they did a nice job. If you go on HAL the benefits of booking Club Orange are worth the money.
  6. Assuming you are flying FLL and carrying off all of your own luggage, a 9:20 domestic flight would be doable but tight. This assumes of course there is no problems clearing the ship, getting through customs and catching a taxi/ride share first thing and no issues at the airport.
  7. Check out this YouTube video for 6120 on Edge. Your cabin should be similar.
  8. I booked Lawn Club Grill for the night we are in port in Cozumel. I have a 6:00 pm reservation, sunset is at 6:07 pm and sail away is at 7:00 pm. It should be a magical evening watching the sunset then eating under the stars as Cozumel fades away.
  9. Thank you for your review. The most feedback the better for future cruisers.
  10. Thanks for the feedback on the MDR. I'll be on board Reflection in December and the food in the MDR is a big concern of mine. I want more than "just ok" and "nothing fancy but acceptable" for my cruise dollar. One of the reasons I booked Celebrity for my first cruise was Celebrity's reputation for better than average food. I was on Beyond in January was happy with the food then but recent changes will definitely affect my future booking decisions.

  12. If you are just sailing with another couple just show up when you want. There are plenty of four top tables. If you are sailing with a larger group of friends, 8 or more people I would talk to maitre `d when you first get onboard to arrange something ahead of time.
  13. You have nothing to apologize for. We are enjoying the detail you go in to.
  14. I'm sailing on Reflection in December and have down a refundable deposit on a cabin on Ascent's initial transatlantic crossing. I've been looking at Azamura, HAL and Virgin Voyages as alternatives. Whether I keep my reservation on Ascent will depend in large part on how things go in December.
  15. Click on the calendar icon at the top center of the app; click on " Change Ship/Dates" at the bottom, scroll down to "Browse our ships >" at the bottom of the screen then choose the ship and its current itinerary.
  16. The menus in the App are NOT correct for future cruise dates. Look at the current sailing to get an idea of what will be offered when you sail. Are the items you are interested in available on the current sailing? If not, you're bound to be disappointed.
  17. Appetizers: Crispy Thai Beef Spring Roll Celebrity Signature Crab Cake Hawaiian Tuna Poke* Chilled Shrimp Louis Entreés Beef Wellington Veal Cordon Bleu Broiled Australian Sea Bass Dessert: Cheesecake
  18. EDGE Percent Obstructed View.pdf
  19. I liked Normandie for the ambiance and the specialty items, particularly the Coquilles Saint-Jaques and Beef Tenderloin en Croûte.
  20. Eden Bar, Martini Bar, The Club, The Sunset Bar
  21. The future menus are not accurate. Look at the menus for the current cruise to see what is likely to be available for your future cruise. Of course, they can completely change the menus again between now and your cruise date.
  22. Ignore the marketing, There are several YouTube videos reviewing VV where you will see the bulk of passengers are not the hip 20-30 something hard bodies doing exciting things but much more like a slightly younger adult crowd you'll see on X.
