I did 4 legs on grandeur and thought it was spicier which made it more flavorful and good. Grandeur also had a station during lunch open of freshly made. Allure had some good things but I agree changes from one ship to a other.

There was no pork belly on our menu. Regular salad, some orzo pasta type and something else. Nothing I'm crazy about. Pork belly would have been a hit. For sure no filet or lobster. It was a different cut of meat, not a filet which again would have been good or lobster. Might have had carrot cake idk, by then I was a no thanks. Yes please post your menu. Mine wasnt worth bothering to go for except those who wanted wine.

I think it depends on demand. Two cruises close in date. Same excursion costs more on one. Sept last year on liberty and march 27 radiance I got good prices, but not other dates. I did the eco monkey sloth in roatan last sept because it was priced higher as the original price other dates. Idk, but there can sure be a difference. Even chops has different full priced amt

I went the first leg of b2b. They forgot about our table. People seated later were on their dessert. Finally came after a hour. Not sure the cut of meat but every bite was all grizzle. Couldnt eat it. Lady next to me said her fish was dry. The appetizer and dessert not worth going. .. maybe if you are a wine drinker. It wasnt a good cut like Mdr strip. Big but not good. I didnt go 2nd leg. Wasnt good. Allure. Idk but I heard pinnacles have a better menu.

Lol 340 pts amenity. Hahahaha. Gotta earn those. Not for lowly barely D+ and diamond. I did leave my unopened waters behind.

More than you get on carnival. They do bacon every other day in WJ.

I got some similar mix and match on grandeur... this was allure last dec. At least they have something I can use. I'm flying to miami next time. I know JS and above it's now on the wall, so only for below JS.

I think roll calls are more popular on other social media. 10 years ago cc was the end all be all, but its waned a bit. Also depends on cruise length. Less than 7 days often there is no roll call.

Order as many appetizers and desserts as you want. Only entrees were limited and limited.

Just start checking in at midnight. I was a hour or two late and the earliest time was already gone. Midnight the time the ship leaves. I'm used to checking in midnight Galveston time and my next is out of Miami. Bunch of go getters. Its midnight miami time for ships out of florida. 10:30 taken. I got the first reported 11 am check in. Dont wait.

The Galveston terminal was calling for diamond plus to board same time as the key. I wouldnt have gotten on sooner. The solarium was another good place for breakfast. One of the few places I could always find seating. As far as I found had the only omelette station. Wj had egg station to cook eggs but not omelettes. Also tried johnny rockets once for breakfast. I thought they were pushy for a tip. And my eggs too runny. So i didnt tip since i didnt like my breakfast. I got the works so runny eggs ruined the whole plate. Yes i could have sent it back ... just never went back. So many options. I just wanted a little breakfast and twice did the flavored cream cheese and bagel in the cafe. Me and the Mexican food place not a good fit. No place to sit and eat ruined it for me. Everyone on my b2b seemed to want free Mexican for lunch. Mama mia was fantastic.

It does have a short zip line. We watched it from the diamond, lounge. Lots used the climbing wall I could also view from my cabin. I especially liked the WJ. Last night they had ribs and wings. Idk about the 4 day menu. Mangoes and plantains on Caribbean night. The Mdr had issues with my seating so I spent more time in WJ. Beautiful ship. Idk if the hump had larger balconys. I thought people booked for the better view. I did the extended central park and boardwalk balconys I wanted to try out.

There are posters on other social media who acted like it was a contest how many lobster they could order. They cant or wouldn't eat 11 orders of meatloaf, but would eat 11 lobsters and brag. I could be wrong but thought I read carnival cut to 2 lobsters. With all the sharing going on, it does seem like rcl wanted to limit this one item. And here we have a thread how to get around it. Amusing to read.

Your brother didnt add the tip. Rcl adds 18% when you book, no choice. If its wonderful you can of course add a extra tip.

Toiletries were ok imo. Not something to push for but better than dispensers. Might also add cheers with a officer, but my steak was not good. ..a lady across from me after 4 or 5 glasses of wine didnt care. ..but I think it's at 340 pts. If rcl does another cruise with almost no solo supplement do like @John&LaLaand each get their own cabin. Extra loyalty pt too.

They dont care if its something communicable.. if it's not covid, you are free to go give it to someone else. No, it's a discount only for solo cruisers. It does get you upgraded toiletries and another amenity. Saves me having to pack liquids and fly.
